I hear that. Also the complaining when they lose to something they don’t understand because they forget about the S part about RTS. Some of it is justified but some of it is just not understanding the game. It will never not upset me how ignorant some top players are about the things that aren’t meta.

The result? He got hammered.

I do think Germany needs a fourth revolt option. I'm thinking either the United States (If Italy can have it, why not Germans?) or Chile (Though the Ulhans of Death should be weaker than the Hussars, just to be safe) Or maybe rework the March Revolution into it's own revolt rather than just a card. Though on the topic of Imperial, Maybe Germany gets it's own special politician called "The Chancellor" which gives you access to all five Royal Alliances from "Prince Electors" with a free guard upgrade for the units as well. (Talking about Bismark, not that other Chancellor)

Uhlans of death could be imperial Totenkopf hussars with upgraded deathstrike ability though the Bismarck politicians sound so much better. He could be either an age 5 option or if they made that spring revolution into a revolt it could be a shipment similar to Napoleonic era

Yeah Germany should get a unique revolt that factors in free Uhlans. Could be Prussia but that’s a bit backwards. Don’t like United States for Germany. Too many nations get them already even if it does make sense for Germany. Could do another HRE state that isn’t in the game.

Revolting with Germany is a bit sad as you said. You lose Uhlans per shipment and still have penalties. German Argentina should get 8 Gauchos per shipment, German Colombia gets 9 Muskets, German Hungary gets 4 Pandours.

Biggie Lion playing with Germany and without going the typical TAD meta, semi ff skirms, uhlans and war wagons, I loved this. Lion, to go mercenaries add the cavalry attack card at age 2, this also affects the mercs.

The problem with mercs though is that gold is the most 'finite' resource and estates are expensive and quite inefficient so you go through quite the power drop if you use them and don't win quickly. Still that's what using Landwehr is for.
