Im sorry to bother you but you seem like you know a lot about openmw etc, i think im having a memory leak? i mean i only have optimization patch and purist patch, the issue is when im starting the game im getting solid 138 fps when looking at the same spot in same weather and all, but after some hours of playtime it gets to 107, (4 hours of playtime) do you know if its normal? i have a 4090 and all games work flawlessly so im puzzled, please help im desperate sorry to bother you, i just want a peace of mind if its nomal

@@TheMrDres I typically play with vsync on, so if memory leaks are causing my framerate to dip, I haven't noticed. I _did_ have a weird issue yesterday where saving would almost crash the game. I just restarted OpenMW and the problem went away. Best I can recommend is relaunching the game every couple hours. And maybe see if the OpenMW forums or subreddit can help you out.

As you have noticed, creatures that summon other creatures get bugged, and dagoth ur is also a creature, otherwise I would have buffed him with summon creatures spells. However, I have a way around that, and made changes to his kit to make him a more interesting battle in my latest update, as well as a few changes to the main quest to make things more interesting and challenging. Again thanks for streaming my mod, it has given me alot of ideas and things to fix.

It makes sense for any KZbinr that produces scripted content because you literally just have to upload your script and KZbin automatically inserts the captions at the correct time. Writing the script is 99 percent of the way to adding captions, it's just filling in any ad-libbed lines and checking that it lines up neatly. Any KZbinr that scripts their content but doesn't have manual captioning is being actively lazy at this point, there's no excuse.

It really makes the world feel alive when you have to be careful not to put on an Ordinator's armor in Vivec, but shanking a Telvani counselor in their own home is just good political prowess on your part. Oblivion had quests that centered around unconventional, usually insane, factions, but no cultures unique to particular areas or races that I remember just existing in the word, doing their own thing, and as for Skyrim, aside from characters in a particular town saying 8 Divines or 9, it may as well be a mono-culture.

something about Dagoth Ur's fight that I find kind of disappointing, is apparently there is broken code, that would make him weaker for every major ash vampire slain, I think Vivec's plans suggest it, but it doesn't work in the base game, OpenMW could make it work, but it has it disabled because his health could go negative if you killed all of them.

@longboy5639 Both have pros and cons, but, objectively, Obsidian, once again, one upped a studio with a sequel built off of the original's engine. 2 had better campaigns (though, personally, I hate MotB and SoZ), while 1 is a lot easier to make custom content for due to the simpler graphics. Meanwhile, both are also plagued by many of the same bugs, such as the Parry skill not working past a 3rd attack in a round from 1 source. Or how True Sight doesn't work the same between them. I preferred to play 2 and make content 1, though I did some scripting work for NWN2 servers as well.

Never played Morrowind, but found your channel recently and have loved it so far. It's convinced me to add Morrowind to my play list. Had a random thought occur, have you tried playing Morrowind as a Beastmaster? Essentially it'd be you only doing damage with creatures you control with the command creature spell, but you limit yourself to only using it on creatures the game defines as "beasts". In Balmora you can find the Demon Spear in the boxes (might be called Devil Spear I can't recall). It's enchanted with a 60 second conjure spear spell. Pretty OP for a free spear.
