I'm excited because it seems like people who do not know how to mod might find it easier to use and understand it (me lol) I have a feeling they use marvelous designer to create clothes and people who create custom clothes for the sims use marvelous designer as well and they mentioned that you'll be able to upload your creations from a particular site right into their canvas and I have slight knowledge of how to use marvelous designer, so being able to not download a bunch of extra modding programs just to make custom content is going to be a game changer for everyone

The sims team has ignored their community/fanbase for years. They can’t be upset when another company swoops in and does everything simmers have been begging for FOR YEARSSS. They just keep shelling out halfway done or broken/unplayable packs because they know we will buy them anyways. Fingers crossed this game is everything we’ve been missing from the sims 4.

Watching your simulated driving was hilarious. Also the traffic systems need work. Once the novelty of having cars wears off, as a game its just gonna be frustrating. If I only have a few hours to play a game at lunch time I don't wanna be playing "caught in traffic". InZoi is still a no for me, but I'll watch you play it. Its hilarious 😂😂

@@BaloneySandwichWithKetchup For the most part I've seen people fast traveling in EVERY lets play because the traffic literally crawls (not just in this lets play, but several others). It doesn't seem like its very fun (and it's a game, fun is important) if everyone is fast traveling through it or taking the bus instead that's a problem. It looks actually pretty fun to walk around because you are actually MOVING. Like a walk to work seems like an enjoyable experience through an open world, with the same risk of the world and environment slowing you down but it even seems FASTER than a car, because you can actually get there. It seems like you could spend a whole Zoi day in traffic. Which is a bit insane and imbalanced as a game mechanic to be honest. The car seems like a fun object to pose with but not actually travel in. Also, this is what early access is for. not just to be dazzled by the pretty graphics, but to actually find things worth giving feedback on. Right now, traffic and driving needs work. It's not gonna get canceled cause they got a bit a feedback about a frustrating game mechanic.

i just watched another video who didn’t really go into detail by reading all of the age groups (so thanks for that troi!!) and now i think i understand the jump from “child” to “young adult” some. i’m not saying this is exactly the reasoning, but it gives me a little understanding. in sk, you’re not societally an adult until your 20, so teen are probably thought of as older children. and then, after that- young adult. i do hope they give us a teen phase in some way (pre teens, middle schooler! maybe - or however they’d be referred to from that perspective) but i do understand if we don’t ever get that

Then make teen older children. 14-teen is fine. The Sims 4 teens looking like last year of high school ready for college students always turned me off anyway. Just need something after child and before "adult". Sims 2 and 3 teens leaned more first two years of high school than last two and that was fine.

Not the traffic jams. 😂 I don’t know. I don’t think I’d purchase or play this myself, but I’ll watch simmers play just to see what you all think. Personally, the graphics and activities are a little TOO realistic to be fun. The cartoony, silly things in Sims make it entertaining. I’m for gameplay. For instance, walking around the entire town, not really having anything to do, sitting in gridlocked traffic, etc. would annoy me.

Going against popular opinion - I don't think this game is going to be for me based on this preview. I'm more of a builder / create entire neighbourhoods of people with interconnecting stories type player though. Not sure it will be good for that experience yet. The driving is defs TOO realistic but I feel like a mod could improve it.... if I'm driving in a sim I want it to be more GTA 5 than my actual daily commute lmao. I'm also not sure how I feel about the hyper realistic look but I know a lot of people like it based on all the CC I see online, so I'm hoping everyone who likes that style and is more of a 'live mode' sims player will jump on the inZOI bandwagon and put the fear of god in EA. I'm really glad to see competition for the Sims because it will force them to get their act together.
