Last week I played Modern Warfare 3: Zombies “MWZ” at Treyarch as part of my Call of Duty Next experience. in this video I give you my full honest opinion about the MWZ MW3 Zombies mode & give you some understanding about the Zombies mode itself on Call or Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

That doesn’t mean that others won’t like it but I think that the more causal zombies player will like this. The OG players, like those who started playing since WAW or BO1, I don’t think will like this at all

I've been playing and enjoying CoD zombies since World at War, and I'm super excited for this! I have some nitpicks, but I think this experience will blow my expectations out of the water just like Cold War did! They really stepped it up since Outbreak - they went bigger, bolder, and more crazy and I'm here for it! Outbreak was meh, but it was fun to run around and play. I always wanted more zombies and this new mode will have that! I do feel like they need to scale it for solo players and make some sort of round based/Onslaught mode with this CoD too.

@@jacobhoward4135 Outbreak was a partial open world mode with one objective per area, with a few other side objectives on top that. You could run around for a while and not find any zombies. They made Outbreak Collapse which was a lot of fun, and they had zombies coming at you all the time. MWZ is a straight up open world experience that has a crap ton of zombies and a bunch of objectives. There's so much more to do in MWZ, so yes, it's a step up from Outbreak.

Looks different and is advertised different which is good. Its not trying to be that zombies so it will be for a different audience but I like the idea. I enjoy dmz but hate the lack of constant threat. This just seems like that upgraded really. Whilst its not the same game it can still be fun.

The YT’ers at the event confirmed there’s no upgradeable skills, but they also confirmed that some of the perks have their rank 5 max upgrades and some don’t.

I appreciate Pizza's honest opinion so much because all Ive seen is people absolutely shitting on this game mode or people saying its the best zombies mode ever. This mode looks nothing like what the community asked for and because of that i believe its not going to be fun past the first couple of times playing. BUT just because I don't like it doesn't mean others won't. I think Treyarch really needs to look at the reactions of the community after this year and see that its not worth putting the effort into creating a game mode like this and should go back to creating round based zombies, map based storylines, and EE that are meant to be discovered, not just a walk through zombies experience.

Look as long as the Normal Zomvies (Round Based) is looked after and they have the Open World like they have recently then everyone should be happy. Because while I enjoyed jumping into Open World I still love and grew up with Normal Zombies...and thinking that was over sucked.

Eve the famous kino was a portion in campaign so not alot of original maps

@JulioHernandez-vi9to makes sense for Waw since that's the beginning and Activision isn't going to dedicate resources to a mode that might be a flop, as for BO1 most of the maps are original seeing how Kino was supposed to be DLC 4 for Waw, Five was clearly reused, same with Ascension as for Call of the Dead, Shang and Moon those are all original. TranZit all the way to Gorod were original just had barely any reused assets from the campaign in them.

Oof that would be a rough challenge lol. I can just picture how much of a grind that would be cus even with triple pack a punch there are just always weapons that aren’t good at all against bosses. The whole mastery camo grind in general is gonna be a long one I think just because of how the mode is set up. The zombies seem to have a crazy amount of health from what I’ve seen in zone 2 and 3 so the kill based challenges could take awhile if it’s like 1000 or more kills per weapon

if you like classic cod zombies you'll hate mwz if you like dmz you'll love mwz. Outbreak gave you the option to play single player with no other humans connecting to your game. mwz forces you to play with other people in your match and is severely time limited.

Ben how are solo players supposed to go for camos or eventually easter eggs in this game when your gonna have 23 other people doing their own thing around the map? In Zombies I also prefer to play solo but now that's not even a possibility anymore with the 20+ players inside a single map therefore able to going for camos as fast and efficiently as Cold War, BO3 even Vanguard will be a thing of the past 😔😭

I've gotta say, I'm sure it's decent, but not being able to play solo is a dealbreaker for a me. I don't want to have to play online, and I legitimately won't even bother if that's not an option. Say what you will about Vanguard, but at least I could play that on my own. I don't understand why they keep trying to release a game with zombies without including round-based at launch. I have no issues with them trying these other modes. I actually think Vanguard's launch mode is a decent side-mode, better than Onslaught from Cold War (the PS-exclusive mode where you could play zombies on multiplayer maps), but without having anything round-based, the mode people come to COD zombies to play, they're just shooting themselves in the foot. People would rather have no zombies mode than a zombies mode without round-based maps, which might sound crazy, but it's true.

I think people just have to take it for what it is.....it's just not a zombies game like Pizza said. It's an after thought of throwing zombies on a WZ map. Its a pacifier till next year. If this was the main zombies mode for next year the OG zombies community would actually die inside. No solo experience, no round based, no proper Easter egg, timer. Its a mini game for people who like MW multiplayer and warzone.
