I played my first game of 40K. How did it go ?

4 hours game and I didn't see the time passing. I can't even focus on video games for this long anymore. It's awesome ! What about you ?

Honestly Hubert, The best part about table top is having a few beers with mates and just shooting the shit. I'm still trying to remember my Horus Heresy rules but it's been such a great time. As always the vids are awesome and the memes are great. The channel opening/theme is one of the best I've seen/heard, so atmospheric and iconic. Keep up the great stuff and keen to hear how your future games go.

I'm glad I can make you chuckle :) Thanks a lot for the kind words. I haven't even looked at 30K rules yet, how do you feel about it compared to 40K ?

@@hubespaintshop 40k is quite fun and I do like the way stratagems can mix things up. I think what annoyed me with modern 40k was the power swing when a new faction was released and the constant fluctuation of unit stats. Having to buy new codex and data cards was a pain. 30k it's predominantly all marines so the magority of weapon stats are consistent, save for legion unit units and traits. Would highly recommend checking 30k out though if you were interested.

@@PS-uy4zk Thanks ! I am interrested, plus the fact that I'm reading through the horus heresy books and some of the models look amazing.. I'll get there eventually :)

Biggest hurdle is the starting line. Good on you for giving it a go! As for storage/transportation I use Magnet bases in some $10 Storage cases I found at Harbor Freight then epoxy glued some galvanized steel roof flashing to the bottom. Also I must admit I have one case that sits lonely on the shelf filled with 100 Necron Warriors.

Thanks ! Smart design ! Magnets seems to be the best way. Also prevents friction. But what about the 100 warriors. Why ? :D
