If you want to make Edgar playable, it's not about buffing Edgar, it's about reworking the game since 90% of brawlers either have controls or dashes to deal with aggressive plays, and the few ones that have neither have insane damage at close range (pam, bo, griff, sometimes rico and spike). This is the real reason why pure tanks and assassins are unplayable : every brawler has a way to deal with them.

For me he need a total rework: they should remove the shield gadget but adding more health and he shouldn't even heal himself to every hit + damage buff and attack charge nerf, even the range of the super should be nerfed.

Making his first sp as base. Adding a new sp where he gets a bar, which charges (not as slow as shelly's band aid and but not as fast as bibi's, but at the same rate as fang's second sp) overtime. Once edgar jumps it slows down enemies for a 1 second OR it prevents people from using their super for 1 second Also his normal attack range should be as wide and as much as fang's (excluding the range gained from flying shoe mechanic)

After finishing this challenge for myself, I have no clue how you always win these challenges with randoms. I lost two matches before I decided to look for a team, after which we swept the rest of the games without a single loss, and only had trouble on our second gem grab game. CryingMan too OP

The problem with edgar isnt that hes bad its the amount of brawlers that outrange him and many other short close combat brawlers, he was good till long range brawlers flooded the market (game) and any short range brawlers who has to get close to attack where nearly instantly erased off the map before they hit

I think Edgar needs an attack range buff (about 2 tiles more, after all he attacks with a long scarf, so it should at least be longer than primo!). His gadgets are fine imo. His hard landing star power is good, but I’m not sure about his extra healing one. I think a longer speed boost from his super would serve him well as an assassin. I don’t know about this one, but what happens when you heal him for a percentage of his missing hp? I’m thinking 15%. That’s over double the usual at very low hp, but a little worse at half hp. (353 -> 630 per hit with 1 hp remaining, but 353 -> 315 with half hp remaining, all at lv 11)

My idea for Edgar change is to remove his passive trait (which charges his ultimate itself). It would be better to add a new passive which would give him ultimate if he will dodge incoming attacks (attacks should go near him but not hit). Also with this trait they should buff his movement speed. This will make him a lot more fun and rewarding to play. But overall I think that there are too many brawlers who have knockback gadgets that make him almost useless. I think that removing these gadgets from most brawlers and adding new ones would be a lot better. This will also make tanks feel a lot better to play.

I think a good rework for edgar would be to buff his hp to 4800 or 5000 and nerf his lifesteal by 15 or 20 %,add first star Power into base kit,and add another which increases his range or makes slows and stuns less efective on him(i have no idea if the star power will be broken but just my idea,if not the first i suggested just a half tile or full tile range buff).Its my idea ot might be broken but idk im noob🤣.

Bro you gotta share your secrets on how to play him. But for the rework, they could increase his health and attack range; work with the damage such that his hands are more involved; put the first sp as part of his super, and a short immunity against adverse effects, and maybe for his sp replacement, they can give him one that either adds a 4th round, further increases the max range. Just some thoughts.

I think a different second starpower would work. So basically on Edgr's last ammo it turns yellow, and he heals 50% more hp, but does 20% less damage or something like that. This is because half of the time you waste all your ammo on attacking and have none left to heal.

His range though will keep him from being op, plus over half of the brawlers have gadgets that can still push him back. This change is to help him when the opponents teamates begin to attack you on top of you already attacking one of them.

What I would to to rework Edgar would be to speed up his super charge rate from 30-15 sec nerf 1st gadget to fit the charge rate buff range to El primo and have a second trait that reduces slow,stuns,knockbacks by 35% and have his health from surge or stu to grom or sprout

I think Surge needs a nerf basically he's second gadget needs an nerf. I think it's too strong they need too nerf this gadget. Edgar will be better as a few points are done. 1st: buff his hp for around 300-400 2nd: buff his range 20% 3rd: old 1st sp build-in, the new 1st sp is Edgar gets a shield of -20% damage for 2.5 secs 4th: buff the after-super speed for a sec 5th: buff the auto-charge rate for about 20% 6th: nerf 2nd gadget to 1500 hp. I think Edgar needs a rework : Edgar's Let's Fly Gadget Super charge speed should increase to 700% (from 525%). Edgar's health should increase to 3000 (from 2800). Edgar's main attack healing should decrease to 25% (from 35%).

Oh, yeah, this mini rework is deadly, adding all 2 star powers on the base kit, and, he make see an effect when he use normal attack, make that attack being poison, then he will be top 1 brawler and supercell will continue nerf him

YEs i think edgar needs rework the thing that needs rework: range and a new star power [bcz the more healing star power is kinda ussles and when he jumps like evry brawler can knokback him] and he can die so fast
