Your games against octo, as always, were an absolute pleasure to watch. I find it kinda funny that they kinda forced you to go back to your main to beat em. Typical shonen scene a la "this isnt even my final form!" or "you forced me to go all out" vibes. Also, i find it lowkey terrifying that this sets the precedent of you being able to just, switch between Ninja and Cowboy depending on the match up. Eventually, like all fighting games, people would start needing to develop secondary characters, but you did this sht *way too fcking early*, shit's impressive

Cowboy is very weak this patch and has about 25% wr against wizard and unplayable against ninja. I just knew I will lose to octo as ninja because of how strong wizard is now and how much good of a player octo is so I just tried cowboy and won twice somehow

@@eluxdrio I mean, to be fair, winning against octo on a secondary char just straight up wasnt going to happen, the difference in match up experience was probably too much to overcome. I'd say that your call to go back to what you're most comfortable playing with was pretty good, if anything, it gave a chance to win on a scenario were otherwise you'd probably lose by default

@@drowsyCoffee I wouldn't say that. Wizard is just really really strong this patch and approaching as ninja with all the framekills wizard has is just too much of a gamble. Thankfully, most framekills are now removed from the game in latest unstable and wizard got nerfed. Cowboy is getting buffs and hopefully will be as strong as other characters again

its "way too early" because he's the only top player in the game. kafsao is not a top player. octo is not a top player and neither is fartcreature

You swapped to cowboy on your second try against the wizard. Is that more because of your higher amount of cowboy experience in dealing with wizards or do you think it's a better matchup?

This patch cowboy is extremely weak and wizard extremely strong, that's why I was playing ninja in the first place. But octo is just too good that I went for cowboy, even though it's now a worse matchup because, yeah, I'm just better at cowboy

This is absolutely awesome to watch, but I’m not finding any reliable beginner’s/combo guides for ninja, particularly for the current patch. Is there any chance of a character guide in the future? Totally understand if you can’t/don’t want to, just looking to understand the game a bit better.

Current patch cowboy is terrible. The game is changing quickly so cowboy will be fine soon I'm pretty sure :)
