KZbin is 60fps anyways. You can tell how smooth it is though because of how realtime it looks. Hard to notice if you don’t understand the difference.

As someone that’s tried every jump from 60 to 144 to 165 to 240 then to 390hz, yes, you get used to each refresh rate so much that you just feel how much smoother each jump in refresh rate is (144 to 165 not so much cuz duh)

I went from 60 to 165 and then to 390. Very nice update but I absolutely wouldn’t say that it’s necessary (390 specifically, 144+ is necessary imo)

You should get a wooting keyboard for osu! See if it makes you more consistent, it has the most precise adjustable actuation you could dream of and also rapid trigger, which allows you to register another keypress even if you don't fully release past the actuation point. Also really smooth factory lubed switches (no metal/plastic contact friction, they use magnets!)

I’ve just recently learned you have to activate the refresh rate….after having my monitor for a year. So now I’m finally moving from 60hz to 240hz and I’m still getting used to it but my quality of life and eye health are benefitting already

Its actually raising ur skill level cap... I mean it will look like this With standard kb, mouse, 60hz monitor, and 120fps rig Let's say u hit lvl.10, now with that setup u need 1 million exp to hit lvl.11 But if u upgrade it from standard mouse to better mouse or tablet and get better pc and monitor let's say it will look like this Tablet, 360hz monitor, 500fps, better kb From lvl.10 to lvl.11 u will only need 100k exp

I've jumped from 60 to 144 to 240hz and I've felt like I've gotten better or more consistent at games including osu but I wonder how much is the monitor or placebo. I wonder if since you spent all that money and you're getting more frames you convince yourself it makes you better but in fact you just play better because you no longer think something is holding you back

When I bought myself a new monitor 27'' 144h I felt like I bought myself new eyes. It definitely helped me with reading patterns, cuz I now see circles appearing much smoother. Before that I played on a small laptop 60hz monitor

Literally cant go back. Atleast what my friends tell me. Im currently working in my holidays to earn money to buy my own gaming pc, a friend of my will give me a 165hz since he will switch to 244hz. I play on a laptop with 60hz. Low budget gamer basically. I never have seen above 60hz my whole life. I dont even have good setups like a good mouse and never had a good reliable mousepad. One of my firends came over to show me his mouse and mousepad, tried to play some shooters and osu and holy shit. Its 1000x better and was also playing 100000x better than usual. Always thinking it doesnt matter that much if u are skilled but now I can say, YES IT DOES MATTER WHAT SETUP U HAVE.
