More content like this please Jack! Great performance in the first few. Playing a pro isn't just about your throw, it's about your mind too so it's always going to be difficult.

Hi Jack, nice vid. Looks like you are improving 👍 Can I offer a little advice, which you may or may not agree with? (Writing this knowing it could bite me 😂😂😂). Darts can often be won or lost due to small margins. Everyone generally is wanting to improve their throw and consistency and practices to do that. Many however ignore the mental side of the game, and being a bit negative before a match is extremely common. It’s like a golfer only thinking about going in the water when playing a shot over a lake. “Plop” If you tell yourself you are going to lose you often will, and that ‘negative thought’ can and will continue on. Being positive does not mean being cocky though. Yes playing Brett is a challenge, but giving him every leg before you have thrown a dart ( I know you didn’t actually say the words) is unlikely to help you improve IMO. Believe in yourself. Adopt the ‘let’s see how it goes’ attitude as you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Remember that you can only throw one dart at a time, one throw at a time and that you can only win the leg you are in. The more legs you take off good players the more the pressure shifts and the better you will feel about your game (generally lol, the game is hard after all). I hope this helps, or at least gives you some thought. Good luck dude 👍

What sort of numbers of darts are people checking out in in these games? Any big strengths/weaknesses like scoring or doubles or is the overall standard pretty decent? Does any shithousery/distraction tactics take place?
@richardlewis19363 жыл бұрын
I love the idea of this video! I no it’s gonna be difficult but I think if you could make it so we can see the dart/scoreboard clearer and maybe let us watch the full match but fast forwarded with some commentary over it would be better. Definitely looking forward to more videos like this.

That was just nerves. Your darts weren't floating in the same way and speed. Not that I'm a pro or anything but just noticed that your darts weren't going the same speed as before. You know better than the most people that the solution to that problem is experience. So nothing to worry about and just keep enjoying it!

Just wondering if the pdc or your league has a rule about exiting off on the left side. I do this just like because I am left eye dominant, and when I tried to get my card here in the states its not a rule but considered rude
@tkaigs_3 жыл бұрын
Can you do a video explaining your league format. In the states we have a 3 man/woman team. The format is 501 singles doubles 501 all best of 3. Then singles cricket and doubles cricket best of 3. Each player has to play against everyone you cannot have the same team play the same game.

Same, I'm pretty sure its a pdc rule. I remember a mvg game with the 2 9 darters where he would walk off to the left, but that was because his opponent was so far right.

This is what the people want but yes your should commentary over the video
@stokepokerchat3 жыл бұрын
Your stance and or throw seemed to change somewhat against Brett, not sure if that was because you were trying harder on that one or felt less relaxed against an harder opponent, would love to see more of these, maybe if its not hard to do would it be possible to maybe get some averages or data after the games? I do imagine that would be a lot of hard work unless you have a darts connect scoreboard or anything.

Seems you let the pressure of playing someone that you know is good get to you a bit there mate, just play the board is the best way if you know they are good aim for a finish after 12-15 darts and you should be ok 👍

unlucky bud, played well though in the last three games so take the positive from the night. next time you'll take him
@SuperChalkster3 жыл бұрын
Darts is such a mental game. It’s easy to know what you did wrong but ridiculously hard to do something about it. You most prob tried that little bit too hard. Tightend your grip little to much tension on the arm. Over thinking gives you late release etc. I’m decent at darts but the mental side of the game can ruin me massively into a complete novice

Give credit where its due, against a good player it is difficult to keep composure and focus. You got rattled and so, not because you saved your worst game for the best player in the room. Get out! 🤣
