Pokemon GO requires at least Android 9 to install. Most super-cheap tablets use cheaper Android 6 or 7 chipset. (If the ad doesn't say, you're out of luck.) Also, phones with low memory quickly fill up with "overhead" to where the latest PoGO updates won't install. Still, you can get an Android 12 phone for less than US$100 that can be a great Alt account using WiFi, "unlocked" with no service plan required.

MYSTIC7 I sure hope you read my comments, but it would be great if your gigantic voice on this game would say something about The Pokemon Go Route Creation problems popping up for a lot of creators right now. Routes are being reported as dangerous or as cheating and for some reasons Routes just get deleted or accounts will get reported because of some trolling people. Niantic doesn't check the actual routes which get reported but just sees 2 reports and the decision will be made within a few minutes (which proves it impossible to check). It would be cool if you could address this.

So the lag may be. That you need to download all assets since the game was just new and it’s still downloading everything. I have that issue with an iPhone 7plus. And it worked better after downloading the assets. But it’s also just the processing power

Can I just say, I have a Motorola e7 powered by android. DO NOT GET THESE POWERED BY ANDROID PHONES UNLESS THEY ARE PARTNERED OR MADE BY SAMSUNG. It takes years to get into Pokemon go, bad with Bluetooth, won't connect to 5G at all or even 5G wifis, and constantly glitchy on everything. I recommend, if your getting a android, get something android with Samsung. Samsung is awesome, it's just these off brands crap phones that make Samsung look shit.

Temu... id never use anything but a gift card on that site. For realz advice for a pogo only phone, check out the moto g stylus, which is priced around $99-$120 depending on what promos moto has running. I got a regular moto g play at the same time and it is garbage. Runs ok walking around, but good luck doing anything else (crashes every battle, raid, etc). The moto g stylus has very similar specs as the g play, but has a snapdragon processor which somehow makes a big difference. It runs the game perfectly. No crashes or disconnects, runs better than the cracked screen galaxy 9 note that i had been letting my son use.

I guess how it’s work is that you can only do this on non-Legendary and non-Mythical Pokémon (mainly due to exclusivity, but also; I’d imagine that the cost to turn Legendary and/or Mythical Pokemon into Shadow Pokemon would exceed the amount that we can normally carry without the Shadow Shards combining into a Purified Gem). Also, depending on evolution, it would cost more Shadow Shards to turn these Pokemon into Shadow Pokemon (no Evolutions would take one Shard, a Two Stage would take 2 in their second stage, and a full Three Stage Evolution would take 3 in their fully evolved form). Any Pokemon that can Mega Evolve if you give them Shadow Shards to become Shadow Pokemon will lose the ability to Mega Evolve, unless you purify them. And the other final thing I’d imagine is that Pokemon given Shadow Shards to turn into Shadow Pokemon will take a random hit on their IVs, decreasing them (but only a small amount will be taken away from IVs, as if you purify them, that same amount will be given back)

I'm pretty sure that if he was to use the phone and Google files he would be able to transfer the Pokemon go APK from the phone to the tablet. It's a process called side loading. To the everyday user it's not something that can easily be done. But to a tech proficient individual it's as easy as breathing. Once the APK is loaded to the tablet the Google Play store will recognize the application on the tablet and will automatically update as long as you have enough RAM and storage to facilitate the updates of the APK in the first place
