Larvesta is also in the 2 km eggs for anyone that wants to grind Larvesta. Honestly, I think the event is good for anyone that wants to grind XP. It only takes 12 candies to evolve a Wurmple, a Weedle or a Caterpie and then you just transfer the second evolution.

Honestly going back to Kanto is a tried and true method to get attention. Older players may not care but may want to get a better specific pokemon, for various things and newer players may not have as many good kanto pokemon since when they started up there are just so many now. In addition I will say the Kanto pokemon always tend to be relevant.

I went to Naples Florida for vacation last week. I was hoping that this year would finally be my chance to shiny hunt or at least Hundo hunt the Florida exclusives, Corsola, Heracross, Carnivine, & Maractus (yes, I know its shiny is not in the game yet.). However, thanks to this bug event, almost none of them spawned for me…. 😢😢 At least I got 2 shiny Heracross from the Mega Heracross raid event on Saturday, so I’m very happy about that.

I found like 4 shiny Nincada in the last couple weeks. First two were from a nest that spawned in a park near me, and then 2 more during the event. Also a random Audino nest... had no idea that thing could nest - stardust galore.

For the biome thing it would probably suck for a lot of people if the spawns were coordinated to areas, it works in mainline games because it’s a whole world in the game, Irl people can’t travel like that. And the new character update is abysmal.

I've had the books update since it first got released, but for me and my friends it makes the game SO INSANELY laugh that UT takes about 10 seconds to throw a poke ball. Its a cool visual update but they need to fix the laggyness

This is a great event for people who aren’t level 50 and don’t go to every safari event. So ya, I think it’s a very cool event. I grinded the hell out of the sinnoh tour and go fest and couldn’t get shiny combee or burmy! This event I got a female shiny combee and a burmy. As someone who can’t travel the world whenever. I loved this event. Scyther was also spawning

Bug Out has been a bit hit and miss for me. I only managed to get one shiny male combee last night from the general spawns. I got a shiny burmy and a shiny ferroseed a few weeks ago, weirdly getting an upcoming featured shiny in the weeks before an event has happened a few times to me. Where I feel like I really got lucky was in the collection challenge encounters, I managed to get a shiny shedinja and a shiny scizor so over all I’m happy with the shinies I got.

Only thing wrong is that April 16's spotlight hour feature is not double evolve XP. We could saved all the 12 candies evolve on that day and evolve + lucky egg em. But nope. That didn't happen. What a bummer.

I was pretty happy getting the extra candies and doubled XP. The event was pretty good for the level XP grinders, but I doubt other plays enjoyed/played. Even though I played almost each day of the event, the shiny hunting was unsuccessful- did not get the shiny female Combee i was after due to poor spawn rates

The bio spawn sound fun and exciting on paper but I think it will be bad in practice. Most people don't move around to a lot of bio's. So seasonal spawn would start to feel bad even faster especially if you don't travel a lot.

I have had a theory for a while of why they havent released so many gen8 pokemon yet and want to know if the theory sounds good. We all love Mega pokemon, they are good for grinding candy, raids and cool to change the pokemons appearance. But right now we got like 8-9 megas left to get released, then what? Gigantamaxing. In gen 8 games Sword and Shield it was a big thing to dynamax your pokemon to make it bigger and stronger, but some pokemon like gengar and lapras got gigantamax form, like megas but they become bigger aswell, so I think when all the megas are released I think we will get more gen8 pokemon with this as another Mega system that works the same way

This event has been god awful in terms of spawns. There ARE bugs that people like, but they aren't exactly getting boosted. Scyther and Nincada are the only ones I've seen, and they're super rare when they should be normal spawns. You absolutely had it right that the spawns are terrible.

I recently start playing Pokemon go again just a month ago and and my game always crashes whenever I turn on AR it crashes every time at deleted the game and reinstalling it but the problems still remained my phone is new has no problem running heavy games. Larvesta should've been a rare spawn, and they should've released Tarountula, 110%. The only good thing I got from the Sustainability event was a shiny Drilbur from the walk 2km research task. Larvesta should definitely be more accessible now, like no one's paying for incubators anymore, just to get a Larvesta 😂 just let the people have it

I am ashamed to admit it, but I GRINDED this event to get shiny Wurmple. I had missed it cause I stopped playing the game when the shiny first released. I did OVER 1200 checks, no shiny. Not sure why sewaddle a part of the increased spawns either (not particularly pvp relevant and no shiny). Will be going back to taking a break from the game, especially after their focus on AR+ instead of stuff we want and the lack-luster events.
