I love the impression that Reina is simple but in reality playing her is difficult cause your really need to utilize all her tools to an extent.I actually just hit Mighty Ruler w/ her and let me tell you the grind was insane as this is my first tekken. Really had to lock in. The occasional mirror matches helped me find other rhythms with her. Using her more unorthodox moves too has really helped keep things fresh and opponents guessing.

⁠@@MP-gy7uwyeah but Jin’s electric after df2 is punishable asl like the rest if we’re being critical here. further more reina can df3 into a perfect electric/hellsweep or a mid mix with her 1,4 and 1,3 after wave dash. All the mishima are complex yet have tools to make them succeed without too much execution.

as a tekken God reina main, you got hella potential brody. just gotta utilize all sentai options (the grab is OP) and moves that put you into heavens wrath. and i’d recommend a different juggle option after df2, you can get sooooo much more

Only thing I miss from tekken 7 was customization options, less hit stop on tornado, and Jin’s stance low Reina doesn’t have a whole riding launcher but both FC DF4 and FC DF3 both launch on normal hit 13:30 you don’t. At that point you stomp, war god kick, or oki

Also what contributes to disconnect bc theres times where ill go for the rematch but itll disconnect me from the server (ps5) i relaunch the game and it works fine. I hope my disconnect rate aint high bc the server bc ive only ever quit 1 game out of maybe 400 games yet i get denied alot. 1/400 is .04 so at most a 2% based on not seeing 1% or decimals

Hey lotus, just a tip from a mishima player, try playing on right side, its a lot easier to get electrics/wavus when you're first trying. Its will help you get the timing then you can go back to left. I know doing electrics arent all mishimas have to offer and you hate players that just have execution with no fundamentals. But it is a great tool and more importantly looks badass. ;)

@@versatilelord8893 i play kazuya,reina and jin. The difficulty of all their wavedashes are exactly the same. Jin only has an added down button, wich doesnt really change anything execution wise. So i dont understand why u think that ravens wave dash is harder.

So that’s what I ended up doing with it. Long sleeve white shirt and jeans. Black eye make up, black hair. Checking out the cast list for this game is insane. Xiaoyu voiced Haruhi from high school host club. Asuka is Shroedinger from Hellsing ultimate. Law is the English VA for Kento Nanami from JuJutsu Kaisen, and Reina is the Jap VA for Kugisaki. Alisa is Lucy from Elfen Lied. Victor is literally Monsieur Hood from the English version of Shrek. I won’t spoil the rest of the list as it was an absolute trip spending the day customising the characters to another their VA has shared.

Most Reina players just ff2 in sentai the whole game and don’t use electric lol. You can interrupt all of her options except the power crush which unsafe. It’s better to duck the kick out of sentai tho because it’ll be a trade although you interrupted it. Once you do this they’ll be forced to go for lows and grabs.

Reinas Down Forward 3 or 4 is the best mid in my opinion, I do most of my combos that way, also down back 3 into 1+2 really useful.

Reina Sen 3 can be ducked and is launch punishable after that. Once u do that they will most likely stop doing it and do other sen move but those can be side stepped except for the low i think. Against Jun just duck jab her izumo so u dont have to guess what she will do. Her izumo can be entered by (1,1), (f1),(1,2,2),(f3,2) and (u1). You can duck the (1,2,2),2nd hit of (f3,2) and launch punish accordingly. Hope this helps u in getting out of early red

If you struggle to learn what buttons you should be pressing, you can look up some players who main the character. If you struggle with execution, then nothing beats repetition until you make progress. Might not be very informative, but it's all i can say without knowing your process

@@YOURNOTPRIM with reina, you only need to practice mishima related things until you get the hang of it and figure out the timing of her sentai exit into df1. Outside of that, it's all about figuring out the utility of the moves. The hard part is learning what to use and what to forget about. After that, you're pretty much good to go. Edit: you learn as you play when you figure out like 20-40% of the movelist
