Yesterday was my Birthday and it's my first time having Pokegenie to play raids for Diagla and Palkia, I never have a shiny legendary before in my entire life until yesterday event, I caught two Shiny Diagla that have both Roar of Time and I was very happy :D

Don't worry I am expect Origin Palkia and Dialga will be first ever return to tier 5 raid during Pokemon Festival 2024 but the signature charge attack Roar of Time and Spatial Rend are not guarantee obtained after both Pokemon caught after raid regardless which version player prior choose to Sinnoh Tour.

Such a conflicting event for me 🤣 I got hands down my rarest pokémon. Cp 111, wild, pokédex entry (never encounter in my life due to regions), 100% IV Uxie. Later that day I encountered a shiny Uxie on the bus but couldn't catch it since I was very limited on pokeballs and it broke out of every one that I tried. By the time I tried them all, it was a long gone since my bus had travelled much further down, and I wouldn't have been able to get off and go back that long distance for it to still be there and get enough balls for it too.

If this event taught me anything: Raids suck :/ You see a raid in the distance with people actually getting in: you'll never get there on time. Host your own raid via the Campsite app: the raid is gone before a group is even formed. I managed to do 4 raids. 3 with remote raid pass, 1 where hosting via Campsite actually worked. 1 Dialga, 3 Palkia of which non had the Spacial Rend move. I've walked 25 km on a single day and barely got to do any raids. I'm honestly just disappointed. I really wish that there was an active community near where I live...

creating a reliable friend's list is important if you live in a low population density area. Using a third party app like poke genie to host raids is the best way to gain xp and a long friend list, as each raid you host will generate 5 friends that are willing to use remote raid passes. you just need to be mindful of which raids are desirable to other players and when they were released. you can farm players and legendaries easily if you have a car or bike and know what pokemon are in demand.

In my opinion, as a new Comer that came back to the game from the original release date. I felt that the event only lasting 2 days is silly I only got 2 free raid passes for each day and I had two premium passes saved from a mission. Long story short I had two failed qued attempts where everyone backed out last second. One successful orgin polkia raid and capture. One successful raid on origin diagla but not successful catch. I refuse to spend money in a game to be able to get a freaking pokemon.. My last little rant is they locked the 2024 diagla mission to guarantee a diagla behind you, having to win and capture one within 2 days.... and use its special ability that's just silly and defeats the purpose of the mission, guaranteeing we'd get a capture. I am a bit upset I spent 8 hrs and walked 14 miles, and got pretty much shit

This event was a big let down for me. Encountered over 600+ wild pokemon with zero shinies, so, so fustrating. I hatched a single shiny 96% mantyke which is fun but I did 75+ raids and only got 1 shiny of both origin forms. I'm so grateful I got them considering my horrid luck but wished I could've gotten more. The free research with team rocket was short and very boring imo, completed it within 25 minutes of the event starting and wish there was more to do (yes I know masterwork research was there but still wanted more). Not sure if I was severely unlucky or if Niantic forgot to turn on the shiny odds.... The best thing that happened the past few days was the shundo giritina I caught Friday night before the event. It must've taken all my luck lol
