The track thing happens when the engine is also knocked out, overwriting the track status. Obviously shouldn't work that way, but the code is spaghet. I believe it was a teammate who knocked out the engine as his engine was out when you killed him.

Idk how but whatever tank I play, T-44-100's always manage to instant kill me. Somua front plate at an angle where it shouldn't pen, instant dead, Jagdtiger from the front, somehow kills me, MAUS?! pens my angled side. I'm so fucked up with that tank.
