I actually think Felwinters Helm is going to be stronger for both Song of Flame and Prismatic Warlock. With all the ways to stack melee regen in a neutral state, a super that has built in melee recharge, and then the transcendent state you should be able to constantly trigger Felwinter.

In fact, using ability damage (with the exception of needlestorm, withering blade and wormgod grappple melees) is often a massive dps loss. However, that is not to say that ability damage is completely useless: in lowmans, for example, apotheosis veil is a fantastic choice for extending total damage against bosses with long-ish damage phases, such as warpriest. In certain speedruns (pit’s a good example) verity’s are used for damage when a rally flag is inaccessible. The greatest application of ability damage, however, is in scenarios where there are massive grenade damage multipliers. atheon, caretaker and rhulk are annihilated by verity’s touch of flame fusions: there is no better 6-man cook. Now then, why will song of flame not reach an insane level of dps when combined with apotheosis veil? I’ll explain in list form. 1. Touch of flame fusions deal more damage 2. The additional grenade regen provided by song of flame will be completely irrelevant in scenarios where abilities actually deal insane dps (atheon, caretaker, Rhulk) because your grenades already instantly come off cooldown. 3. Verity’s is a much better exotic for raw ability damage Sorry if I came off the wrong way. Whenever I see misinformation, I just need to correct it. I’d write “essays” like this more often, but people never read them; that’s why I often opt for short, disconnected rebuttals.

The important note about Twilight Arsenal, Thundercrash is tied to arc titan (mid as fuck) pyrogale is boss specific based on roaring flames and hitbox size, but Twilight Arsenal weakens, and has no special requirements. It can also be buffed by spirit of the star eater.
