when playing world adventures I found that it was very helpful to purchase a collection helper (looks like a butterfly) for 40,000 lifetime rewards points. When you turn that on, and then go to map view, it shows you exactly where all the collectibles are located.

From someone who has spent way too much time playing Sims 3 WA: If you're struggling to find something for a fetch quest (like the gold in this episode,) check to see if it's being sold in the relic store. The relic store's stock and the world's collectibles respawn every day, so if you can't find something on the map or in the store, wait until the next day. It can get annoying if the thing you need for a quest refuses to spawn, but if it does spawn in the world, it'll show up as an icon when you go to world view.

when you go to your map, it shows where the metals that you need are!!!! you have to look around in map mode to find them

You can also collect more than you need since the tags show you where those metals are. collection helper just shows all gems and metals and doesn't tell you which one it is.

I still have my Sims WA guide book. If for some reason you happen to have one, page 152 shows you where you can find gold in France. There's also the collection helper reward, and you can just turn on metals and it shows you what and where everything is.

How to find the gold: 1. Just go to map view if you are doing opportunity the game will show you icons with whatever you need to find. 2. Check at the store with relics.

I think Egypt is for photography and is the only place that sells the better cameras, France is for nectar making, and china is martial arts. Photography was added to either base game or university don’t remember exactly, but at least with university you get the normal camera but not the better or worse one which is only in world adventures.

I played Sims 1 as a young teen. I played Sims 2 as a young adult. I now play Sims 4 as not-as-young adult. I never got to play Sims 3. It’s nice to see a bit of that world. Thanks for sharing these Membership videos! Such a special gift! I’m excited to see the rest of them.

Love Sims 3 and World Adventures is my favourite pack! I had just finished playing this when Outdoor Retreat came out... I cannot describe how jarring a contrast that was. What a lovely surprise when I've got dozens of boring bank statements to process.

I remember actually crying when my sims 3 kept corrupting because I loved playing world adventures. Once supernatural came out always made my sim a fairy since it was easier to travel with 😂

When the sim started pulling the statue I thought how this would never be possible in the sims 4, but that's because sims 3's engine was built for a proper PC game from the start, and releasing sims medieval etc. only gave them extra coding shortcuts to introduce these things. Sims 4's engine was intended for a mobile game at first and no matter how many things they add, some level of interactivity will remain impossible because the game's code is janky and was never meant to last this long.

I used to absolutely love playing TS3 world adventures! I used to spend hours going to the different destinations, as well as creating different adventure locations. My fave I used to build was pyramids with hidden coins and different hidden chambers.

Ngl I miss twitch a bit bc you could sub for free if you have an Amazon membership but I understand why you and deli switched to do memberships here on KZbin more considering that twitch hasn’t been great to its streamers sometimes in the past and twitch takes a big cut of it. When I was younger a friend introduced me to the sims 2 and we would always play when I went to her house. My parents took me to Walmart to buy it but they only had the sims 3 because it had recently came out! I had NO idea that there was extra content (packs etc) so I only played it a handful of times and put it down forever. I’m soooo sad I never got to experience the fun of all the packs! Now I’m a poor adult and am veryyyyy slowly adding to my collection for the sims 4 😅😂

I love watching Sims 3 stuff more than Sims 4 stuff, I think, even!
