the fact that the UK has no colonial expansion focusses is criminal how did paradox not add a few focusses to get claims on china, japan, dutch east indies, middle east etc.

they are all few and far between spilt up between random focuses all around the tree that you need to go 3 or 4 70 day focuses in to get claims. Then wait 270 days to get the war goal. They are there, its not fun to get them

If the nationalists don’t own one of the cities in western Salamanca they can’t do the focus to clear the north which gives them enough time to prevent the Carlist split. Thats why carlist spain

6:22 The reason Carlist Spain appeared in historical is because Nationalist Spain needs to hold a province in the north (I forget which one) while integrating the Carlists, so if they get pushed back by the Republicans, the Carlists will revolt. I’ve seen this happen a couple of times before.

Germany wasn't reworked with waking the tiger, they only had alt history branches added, and like one or two minor details retooled. I remember you used to have to click Mefo bills to keep them going which at some point was changed to being automaticly extended. Nothing about playing historical Germany changed in Waking the Tiger

Lithuania guaranteering Poland also has happened to me before as i was playing Germany. It is quite practical when you play Germany as the Soviet Union can't influence them anymore if you just take the land and don't puppet them. Maybe it has something to do with world tension or a focus from either Poland or Lithuania. Or it could be a bug. That can also be the answer.

kinda weird how when the AI has control of Britain its always waging a campaign on a shoestring but when the player actually wants to give the British experience a try, it is honestly pretty easy. given how overstretched the Royal Navy and Army were throughout the entire war, I think it is far too easy to overcome those starting deficits and sit on an economy that the German's can't hope to match from relatively early on, killing most of the fun to be with needing to pick and choose your battles carefully. funny thing is that, even compared to the US, the UK is in one of the best positions from the start of the game to really throw your weight around and tip the scales in your favor from the start, but it is also one of the least interesting countries in game too...

honestly I really like democratic UK (global defence though) it might be my favourite nation to play, youre not strong enough to take germany head on so you have to pick them apart bit by bit, then go in later when theyre weaker and youre stronger. Plus you get a giant fuck off navy which you can use to dunk on axis dreams of overseas force.

Idea to fix British Decolonization: Drastically reduce the number of tags you spit out. Instead of all the modern day countries, just have ~4 new Dominions from Britain's colonies (Caribbean, West Africa, East-Central Africa, Egypt-Arabia) and in terms of the LARP they could be the transitional authorities preparing the colonies for full independence. Maybe give them no cores and a special spirit like Italian East Africa and the new Reichskommissariats.
