I have a genuine question as a high level hwo main currently god of destruction myself not trying to backseat or anything just just wanted to know your thought process on some of your heat usage I noticed you spend heat allot with df 3+4 to get the frame advantage even when you and your opponent is at almost full health giving up the 10f ch launch for over 100 dmg why don't you save it until heat is almost up? Hwo has so many moves that give him + frames why spend one of his best tools so early so often?

Using df3+4 without heat is -14 which is highly punishable by some characters so using heat will give us advantage , however using df3+4 is only 13 frame punisher for hwoarang to punish the opponents, but even high level hwoarang mains don’t use this 13 frame punisher, May be stage fear, not trusting this df3+4, hwoarang mains need to use lots of jab options available and need to punish with df 3+4 properly, I think hwoarang has all the good moves the animations for hwoarang needs to be little polished, that’s the issue I think, we got gem of hwoarang mains playing him, I hope they will get their wins some time.

@@GrimStateOfMindGreat question. I also noticed that Edge would pop heat a lot when he had the life lead and was getting pressured, which is smart. Edge also used a lot of who's counter-hit confirms while in heat more often compared to K-Wiss, but I do remember K-Wiss saying on stream recently before this tournament that he played the 2 jab counter-hit confirm too much, so that is probably why he wasn't using that option much. I don't wanna speak for him tho, that's just what I recall him saying one time

Very different style to Speedkicks' Hwoarang but equally as effective. Whereas Speed quickly downloaded your timing to enable him to be elusive and hard to hit so he could punish hard, Edge gave everyone a lesson in how to disrupt your opponents offense by using high/low jabs and df1. Edge never overextended his offense to allow you to interrupt him or get free punishes. Instead, he stayed frame tight and went after permanent health which is excellent tournament strategy. Fascinating styles but both Speed and Edge quickly adapted to what's in front of them and deployed the counterplay in their own style. The one common thing they share though is they both hate getting hit but their defence is built from a different base - Speed is evasive, Edge interrupts on tight frame timings. Congrats on top 8 at CEO, my dude. No doubt these casuals and the tournament experience is helping a lot. The game is only 5-months old with so much still to learn. Tekken 8 is sick.

Amazing mirror match. This match was long overdue but we finally got it. I know hwoarang has been nerfed crazy but I learned a lot just by watching this set and hopefully I can apply some techniques into my game. Keep it up kwiss, you’re doing sick brother💯🔥

i havent tried but, the flamingo kick into backlash is just F,3, 3+4? because I dont see the armor animation. Ive seen it in a few vids but cant tell how to do it. These small tricks are whats missing to get to tekken king

So are Muse and Edge the same person? Honest question, as the thumbnail implies K-Wiss is playing Edge. 3:55 - 3:58 Ahhh, disqualification! 6:21 - 6:30 "Why do I risk my life for no reason?" 33:40 - 33:44 I really didn't think they were close enough to the wall for a splat. Lol, "Genghis D0n is a hater". That set could've gone better.
