4:43 this is probably the most frustrating thing (aside from valve not caring about the rampant cheaters atm) getting kicked for no reason should not be a thing, especially on last round and if you're top fragging it shouldn't even be an option. The nova is a great weapon too, great peak shot gun, It seems they buffed shotgun damage in the last few updates but its still a good weapon.

@@joshblank5446 Well maybe Valve should put back in place their anti cheat that used to show that lovely "VAC BAN" message on public matches before scrapping it and trying to add a whole new one to the game. I don't really have a huge solution other than valve could fix the hacker issue why should it come to down the players? I understand cheaters should be kicked but that is snake oil compared to the real problem cause they'll just get in another lobby and destroy it.

I watch a french duo that sometimes plays CS2. They're called Wankil studio. One is name Laink and the other Terracid. Well Terracid is often the leader/strategist of the team and he can be an odd ball. When things turn sour or when he's out of cash, he picks the nova to take them by surprise. It's effective and he's good at it. If I remember correctly it's a "Pomme d'amour" with a weed sticker on it and it has 800 or 900 kills

The XM1014 was good and is still good, I see many people playing it. The nova is less popular with time and I almost never see people playing the mag-7 anymore.

Nova is a great budget eco gun, especially on CT side. Just play some tight off angle and you should get a kill or two with it. With its low price one kill pretty much pays for itself. Headshots with it are so satisfying too.

The Nova is an absolutely brilliant pick in my opinion. Between it and the Mac-10, it can be very risk/reward oriented in the second round of a half and, if you are positioned well, even beneficial in bonus rounds if only to act as a one-and-done bait weapon at worst. At best, you have a surplus of cash to always be ready to drop teammates.

I played Nova for more than 6 months, in short it's not bad. Long story, in my experiences shotguns in CS2 instantly kill if stand close enough and how you put your crosshair onto the enemy. Other things, you should take cover as much as possible, peek and shoot, Nova's good at dealing damage in long range comparing to the rest of the shotguns (doesn't mean it will 1 hit kill in medium, long range), and if there's more than two enemies make it into 1v1. Try your best to get close to them so you can get instant kill much easier. Also, do flashes more often (and I mean surprise flashes) it helps me a lot. You should try the square crosshair if you really are on the journey of playing shotguns only.

The problem with the shotguns is that they are so random. One shot, you can hit 7 pellets, and the next, you can hit like 2

Awesome, fun video! Nerd comment: I've felt like the Nova has been underrated since they gave the shotguns fixed spread patterns (back in December 2017, wow time flies), the Nova's is so tight horizontally and instead mostly vertical so it has high one-shot potential for a much greater range than the other shotguns. Since it still has a low fire rate I don't pick it as much anymore, but it's still nice to farm up economy when I'm feeling it.

Speaking as someone who exclusively played wingman back in CS:GO and fell off a month or two into CS2 the Nova has always been a dangerous combo of short range killer, extremely good cost to effectiveness, and occasional sniper. In short, I love the thing.

I once got stuck in the underground bunkers on DZ with a Nova, we encountered another team and my Team mate died, others stumbled in, and I ended up killing 5 in a short space to survive, My Team mate still mentions that fight ("Remember, the Nova is a good weapon")to this day! Fun times!

I played a lot with nova, usually on inferno apartments, and maan nova on close-quarters is superb, but you have to be skilled and you only have 1 chance to headshot kill. So i can say its pretty difficulty weapon.

One thing you forgot to mention is NOVA gives you 900 per kill. This basically means it pays for itself after just one kill. A super great gun for holding tight angles. Very great for economy boosts

Nova is very underrate, for those who master this weapon they are such a monster to face. I remember got one tap from Mirage mid window by nova with AWP range. Or even overpass, and it's a very positive weapon when your teammate is throwing / left. You will have shroud bank. 😂

I play CS Before the CSGO. I also use shotguns in older cs. Really missing the old days of m870mcs/m3 pump action shotgun in older cs. Its very tricky but satisfying. Shotguns are well suited in closed quarters. I also find the shotguns suits better with counter terrorist because they hold sites and defend zone againts terrorist. if you dont check the corners they are annoying to go up against as they can easily one shot you.

would you consider doing this with scout? shockingly it plays similarly to nova just extended range as with the high movement speed if you treat it more like rifle than mini awp and just crosshair placement on heads or use off angles its very powerful

Underrated aspect of the nova and shotguns in general is that compared to other guns you're always going to be doing damage. Getting 1 kill and then dying with the nova and then dying is different than doing so with a rifle as it's much more likely the guy that killed you is lit. I'm still Five-Seven pilled on ecos though. I get more kills with that than any other gun in the game

i feel like shotguns are very effective for the beginner ranks and sometimes for higher ranks as well. i personally love playing with shotguns, because i can just run at people and blow their heads off or sneak in some unexpected angle, like half wall on inferno for example, and obliterate the enemy team. nice video overall, would be interesting to see more 1-week gameplays with some uncommon guns. good luck bro)

I swear with pro players in cs2 its more than just skill. Theres something else to it too. Every kill you get the opposite player is fumbling hard, freaking out, spraying you and missing every shot.
