I Practiced With ATP

In episode five of my series 'Baseline To Pro', I practiced with Alexis Canter who is currently ranked #1675 in the ATP rankings. Alexis has been player a high level of tennis his whole life and almost beat Stefanos Tsitsipas at junior Wimbledon. This was a great practice for me to play against at the level of ATP points.

Hey, when i see you return, i always see it coming short, which is probably why you cant dictate the point when returning. I used to have the same problem on returns, what i did is that i started more back and took a step foward then i jumped at the same time he serves. Like you said, mistakes dont matter aslong has you keep improving and try to get the feel, one day you'll get it. Hopefully this has helped you

Yes, good shout! Sometimes I stand too close on first serves and it doesn’t give me a chance to move forward into it. Will definitely make a note of this 🙌😃
