The Lord had been putting it on my heart that I needed to be praying in tongues more. I've seen people healed before when I prayed for them but today I was downtown with a friend ministering to the homeless and there was a guy wearing a plastic boot. He said he had been caught in the crossfire and been shot. I prayed for him and asked how his leg was feeling. He got a surprised look on his face and said it was better. I put my hand on his leg and prayed again and then asked him to take the boot off and check it out. He did so and found that he was healed. It was amazing. Thank you Jesus!

Praise God! I had to drive 1 1/2 hrs to nursing school each way. I dreaded it, the first day was tiring, I didn’t know how I was going to go through it. Then I remembered to pray in tongues while driving. The next day I tried it, the driving became enjoyable and never experienced tiredness. Praise god!! I start my 3rd Semester next week, and god has also blessed me with high grades. To god be the glory 🙏.

Pastor Dave was like a spiritual grandfather to me. I loved and miss him so much! He was such a precious man and is the only minister I’ve ever experienced who was constantly in the spirit. Thank you for sharing. I used to pray in tongues an hour a day and then for a short season was able to do 3-4 hours a day. This was many years ago. You are correct in all you say. There is such a difference in your spiritual walk, confidence, joy and most of all boldness, when you pray in tongues daily. Along with more manifestations. I have recently started praying again, and it is really hard to get back into it, like physical exercise. But it pays off, just like physical exercise. You don’t feel or see it right at first, but it doesn’t take long to notice changes.

Praying in the spirit in tongues brings me more joy, hunger, thirst in the Lord, instead of saying amen right away in prayer, I still continue to pray, and spend time with the Lord, its as if I never stopped praying 'cus I really never stop praying. I'm so in love with Jesus! A lot of miracles, and breakthroughs, deliverance, edification, and answered prayers we've experienced in Jesus Name, amen! Oh, and one more thing. The Holy Spirit changes you from Glory to Glory, its as if you are always filled with joy, love for others, too, you never want to stop reading, studying the bible, praising, and worshipping Jesus through singing, dancing, meditating upon His word, Hallelujah Jesus for the fullness of Your Glory! Great First Video! Keep it up and congrats! My wife and I have seen Dave Roberson live about 10 times. We went to his Church in Tulsa before he died for a prayer conference. Back in the 80's we would feel a tangible change in the atmosphere in the room even before we saw him come in. Then we would feel another shift when he began ministering healing. I thank God for his ministry. Keep up the good work! The church in America (I don't know where you are from) needs a true spiritual awakening.

As you go deeper, remember in the book the chapter that talks on impasse. When those times come, just don't stop don't be discouraged, something is happening in the Spiritual. Even when you don't see your anticipated change immediately, God the HolyGhost is working at the background. Some of those infirmities weaknesses or foundational family curses or battles, have been with our family lineage for decades, some birth. So don't stop once you put your hands to the plow

@@kenny1339 End Q4 2016 I started exercising my gift of tongues for Personal Edification. June 2017 ,I lost my consultancy contract and yes was jobless. I needed to say this because Believers too meet with challenges, even the one who in 1st Corinthians 14;18 said he spoke in tongues more than his colleagues Apostle Paul was hungry for days. Not fasted, but hungry. That is without food. I needed to say this such that we shift our mindset from all these prosperity messages and preachers everywhere. What Jesus came to carry was a cross ✝️ not gold and diamonds. 2 Timothy 2:3-7,9-10 [3]Take [with me] your share of the hardships and suffering [which you are called to endure] as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus. [4]No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of [civilian] life; his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him. [5]And if anyone enters competitive games, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully (fairly, according to the rules laid down). [6][It is] the hard-working farmer [who labors to produce] who must be the first partaker of the fruits. [7]Think over these things I am saying [understand them and grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything. [9]For that [Gospel] I am suffering affliction and even wearing chains like a criminal. But the Word of God is not chained or imprisoned! [10]Therefore I [am ready to] persevere and stand my ground with patience and endure everything for the sake of the elect [God's chosen], so that they too may obtain [the] salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with [the reward of] eternal glory. Another place, Almighty Paul couldn't free himself from the infirmity afflicting him, and after much interface with Jesus over the matter, our God told Paul his grace was sufficient for him. For God's own reason He decided to maybe humble Paul by allowing him to live with that infirmity. Now back to your question. after my job lose, I changed gear in my tongues I started doing 6 to 8 hours daily average on tongues, spread different times of the day and I pray under breath in public places. By 2020 I already had 2 children in the private university and God's favor grace showed up for me, in having my bills paid for.What others will struggle or lobby for, will just come to me. Connections contacts for brokerages etc. For d first time I understood what Jesus mearnt when He said the Birds don't have an office, no verifiable source of livelihood, yet He feeds them. And that we are more important to him than birds of the air. Also note that Birds 🐦 are the first to wake early the next day singing thanking God for yesterday's provision and an assurance of today's. See speaking/praying in tongues for Personal Edification is the game changer for all Believers, and why the devil is attacking it, even in the church. Why? Because the devil himself doesn't know what we pray about,ONLY God, hence nothing like monitoring spirits this and that. What an advantage to have a God who prays for us. God the HolyGhost the God in the earth today, who is present during our creation, prays back to God the Father with Big Bros Jesus by His right hand of Authority interceding for us, such prayers are ANSWERED PRAYERS . See our tongues is the Pen 🖊 in d hands of d Skilful dependable reliable Ready Writer God the Holy Ghost (Psalm 45:1b) Another place Psalm 81:10 says, open your mouth and I fill it up. Romans 8 26-28 says we dont know the what of prayers nor the how to pray. I started with challenges such that when you meet with challenges, don't give up, don't stop. There are periods of trials or impasse and devil will start saying where have your tongues led you now?? If that Boss is giving you headache or they eventually sack you, NEVER STOP praying, rather change gear. If you were praying 1hr, double it to 2 hours and beingconsistent is the key. God probably has a better job offer for U, or God wants you to create jobs for others, to be an Employer. U are in a relationship and everytime trouble or worse breakup, God may probably be protecting U from going to spend your life with a toxic person, so He kills it before U guys take it to the next level. ❤ Heartbroken today, but an assured future with your own missing ribs. Or God just prevented you from future divorce. I have seen this happen these past years, even my friends, He has sifted them for me. Sometimes, you will question Him, but unbeknownst to you, it was with your own tongue that you prayed out that backstabbing or betrayal etcfriend away. He only gave the utterance, because He knows the hearts of men. He prevents me from some deals I question why, a few months later I saw He just prevented me from being swindled. And so far, twice I have entered bad business, when I refused to listen to His still small voice when He talks back to me during tongues for Personal Edification. Now, I know better. problem with Believers is the discernment to accept such , acknowledging that if we humans in our wickedness don't allow our children to hold a burning Candle even in tears, how much more will our loving merciful Father not prevent us from going into a marraige that will take us to our early a divorce or worse an early grave?.. Read Romans 8 26-28 with understanding, it says ALL things, didn't say all good things, but ALL things good not so good, bad and ugly WORK TOGETHER FOR OUR GOOD. And this is promised when we allow release our tongues to the all knowing God to pray out the words. Also apart from financial blessing, I had a near fatal accident in 1998, and by 2019 I noticed some of d pains and injury like my fingers I can now stretch them out,and my neck , I can't drive long without pains and pains on my shoulders gone. I never prayed in my understanding for healing in these areas because its like 2 decades,so I already lost faith and resolved to drugs and Physiotherapy. But what a loving Father we have, since He is the one giving the utterance, He must have been reminding God d Father about my injuries/pain as a result of that accident far back. Sometimes I believe why God doesn't want us to understand what we pray about is because we can kill it by a lack of faith, our unbelieve. I wouldn't have believed it was God praying about my injury between 2017 to 2019, injury I sustained 1998 if He gave me the understanding to know what I prayed about that period. But now from experience, I now know how to.listen and receive understanding or interpretations for some of my tongues. Also on healing, I used to have hemorrhoids pain, and during one of my tongues for long hours, he brought back the picture to me when I was a child and I remembered clearly and switched from tongues to my understanding. There is also what tongues does,God can speak to you through the Bible or a flashback just bring something to your memory a recall of impending trouble or death of family friend even your enemy for you to pray for them. As a teenager playing football decades back, someone stomped on my thighs, and God brought back the picture to me. I knew immediately there was trouble and He wanted me to pray about it, eventhough decades ago. A few weeks later,I started feeling pains in that thigh, so I intensified my prayers and d pain is gone completely. Maybe if I wasn't doing tongues, I will say I have stepped on something diabolical as an African man 😀story story, whilst it was an impact decades back that is now reappearing in my 50's but for God and His gift of tongues. Finally, there is this FREE e book on tongues mentioned by the presenter in this video by Pastor Dave Robertson. Its a classic on tongues, best book for my opinion on this topic. U can get it online free. Titled WALK OF THE SPIRIT WALK OF POWER. It really helped me understand and run 🏃‍♂️ with this gift,and still helping me. I have written this testimony previously and I don't know why or who keeps deleting it and/ why? Mayb because its tooooo long o ☺

The Holy Spirit led me to this free e book by Pastor Dave Robertson a few years ago and I still go back to this book during periods of impasse. I have other good books on Tongues by Kenneth Haggin and others, but they are sold ,NOT free. Even from his simplicity etc, its clear to see and note the fulness of the presence 9f the Holy Ghost in this man of God - Pastor DAVE ROBERTSON. An example of a Believer that is dead to flesh. I said this his classic book.9n Tongues can be accessed for FREE ONLINE. Yet 9ther men.of God that were and are richer ,their books are sold . The passion the compassion for New Souls and growth of Believers, that is the dividing factor. Pastor Dave Robertson is a gift to the body, and they are very few and not LOUD, because they preach the undiluted gospel of Christ and walk the talk.

I saw this video today and I decided to click on it. Ok I've been praying in the spirit intentionally for the past couple of months because I need to change but really it's a last ditch effort at salvaging my life. I've committed 1/2 hour a night from 7:30 to 8:00 sometimes I go over because my mind wanders and by praying it straightens it out. However because I'm in desperation I actually pray all day at my job in the spirit for over 6 hours give or take but I still keep my 1/2 hour with the Lord without fail unless something comes up. Now what caught my attention with you was when you spoke of the bad parts of your person kept coming up to you. Now what has been happening to me I cannot say is the same but I can say has been quite unusual. I had been having disturbing dreams that make absolutely no sense and also sensual dreams that quite frankly had worn me down. I was left with feeling that maybe this praying in tongues could be the cause of this or the enemy could be using this to discourage me. So I decided to plead the blood of Jesus over myself every night before I went to sleep and that helped to level it out. I still have dreams that don't make sense but at least the trauma is gone. I am continuing to pray because I need direction and closure for my life and I am hoping that He would feed me with the food prescribed for me in this hour. Like my pastor today spoke of the woman who Jesus rejected at first for a healing for her daughter who was demon possessed but her persistence even when she was told that the bread was not for dogs, she came back with "even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from the masters table"! Listen, I'll take the crumbs at this juncture!

Yes my blessed friend continue to pray through the hard times. Hard times mean we are close to a break through. The enemy will try his hardest to stop us from breaking through. Our dreams are another way god speaks to us, we can have corrective dreams. God highlighted some of my problems through dreams repeatedly until I repented and changed. Remember He that is in I, Is greater then he that is in the world. God is for you and with you and only wanted the best for you. But as a good Father he will chastened us for our growth. Even if we are producing much fruit he will prune us so that we bare more fruit later. The enemy wants you to stop praying as something is happening in your spirit. I would encourage praying with a fast for a whole day to try and break through. God bless

I have not have been able to find anyone that has gone through what I have gone through until this comment. I am so desperate for a breakthrough. The Lord had me to go on an extended fast 4 years ago which revealed a generational spirit at the end. Since deliverance, the enemy has been at me non-stop. Every thing became harder-fasting and praying- both in which I had done before like clockwork. Breaking ancestral curses helped relieve the worse part of the dreams a few months ago but now they are just strange and the enemy still tries to attack me but in more subtle ways. In all of this, God has still been here but I want everything to be restored ×7. I have Dave's book and read it years ago before the chaos broke loose in my life. Jesus gave me a word before all of this happened. I'm clinging to it but I know I can't sit back and do nothing. I'm going to start praying more in the Spirit. @@andreamichelle1 Thank you for Sharing Andrea. Praying in the Spirit will do more for us then we can ever imagine. I also get attacked by the enemy and can make it really hard to do anything, Sometimes i don't feel like praying. But I make sure i do 1 hour minimum a day. Praying in the Spirit makes the attacks come and go much quicker, It truly is our greatest defense. If we are really really struggling then a day of fasting and praying is the fastest way to break through. The enemy will do anything to get us to stop praying in the Spirit. Yes continue that 30 minutes every day,like l also do,just be faithful in that, If you put in any extra time ,it is still good,l also have lot of dreams,any dreams from the Lord will be crystal clear, remember this type of praying in tongues for short or long hours daily is called labouring, sometimes it can take years ,but the flood gates must open,but when it does ,great is the rewards

Great video and very encouraging. I was going to share it on social media, but the final part stopped me. De we really know that those who don't speak in tongues have never cast out a devil or seen healings? We would have to do a huge survey of the entire church, or see that in Scripture, to assert it. However, it makes a certain amount of sense, but not sure it's 100% true. God bless.

I would like to know were you just speaking normal tone or with authority? I tend to be out loud but to myself ... somewhat quietly. Hopefully the book goes into it some. I only ask since I heard some say it needs to be with authority.

The person in the book prayed almost at a whisper the whole time. The fervent prayer that they refer to isn’t always necessary. If you feel a build up happening in your spirit then begin to get loud, but until that happens I do either whisper tongues or just normal volume tongues. God bless you Jose. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. He will only convict us of our sins. From there we must repent and do our best not to make the same mistakes. Condemnation will only come from the enemy. Yes you may have done wrong and sinned/ fallen from your faith. However God has brought you back he never gave up on you. He has drawn you back and he will forgive everything if you repent. It will be the enemy telling you, you are not worthy to pray in tongues and this is a total lie. The truth is none of us are worthy of god or his gifts. It is from his grace and his love we are able to be reconnected to him. We have ALL fallen short. If you are not able to speak in tongues then no one on earth is able to as we have all sinned. Do not listen to the enemy accept gods forgiveness and use the power of praying in tongues to turn your life around and to break all the power of the enemy. 🙏❤️

No I wasn’t still the whole time. Maybe 2-3 hours a day I was. Majority of it was walking around doing things while praying, still trying to keep my thoughts on God the whole time though. Lately I found the best way to pray is to lay still and shut my eyes looking into the darkness of my eyes after an hour or two I start getting visions

Thank you so much for sharing it ! It really comes at a time of my life where I needed a key to grow in my edification ! The Lord is King !! However I have just practical questions, as I really struggle with work and kids to find enough time to pray … I have now started to pray in tongues 30min morning and evening on my way to work, during my breaks and occasionally at home during chores or being with the kids, but it’s really hard to keep the focus on Jesus then … did you take 3 weeks holiday to do this challenge ? I would love to spend more time praying on tongues but I struggle finding a way … plus I can’t fast right now as I’m pregnant. Would you have any tips or suggestions please ? Blessings my tips would simply be to pray while doing everything, cooking, cleaning, walking, driving, doing choirs ect. If your not able to sit still and pray, then pray while going about your day. You also don’t have to always be thinking of Jesus while you pray

I def got a lot out of that book! Dave was a great man :) One thing I would just remind you is that you don’t need to pray in tongues to do other spiritual things like healing or deliverance. Alexander Dowie had one of the largest healing ministries in history and was actually against tongues. His student john g lake who also had a very large healing ministry didn’t start praying in tongues till after he was doing healing ministry using Dowies teachings. Later on he got his prayer language and it helped him from not going off the deep end like Dowie. But yeah tongues isn’t a requirement for other supernatural gifting a though it is VERY important for spiritual growth :) keep on prayin bro!

Hi mate yes totally agree with this. The spiritual gifts being stronger was just a by product of praying, definitely not a focus point for me personally. The spiritual growth and the purging was life changing! Becoming more spiritual with a stronger spirit allowed me to hear/ see and be guided by the Spirit much more. Also brought my relationship with God to another level with intimacy as well revelation from his word. Being able to hear and see more in the spirit has helped a lot with gifting 👍🏻 I usually find something that works and do it flat out 😂 God bless

The more u pray extended hours they will change. One pastor once said dnt get discouraged when u say the same thing over over The Holy spirit knows what He is doing. Search apostle joshua selman tongues sermons when he is teaching about speaking in tongues for hours. U will learn a lot.

God bless. I prayed out loud for the 7 hours, spent as much time as I could sitting down and focusing on Jesus while praying however it would of only been say 2-3 hours of the 7 hours. The following time was spent doing chores/work ect while praying in tongues out loud. Some days longer sitting still but some days shorter
