Also, I don't think that's a good idea for a roleplay right now. Plenty of people die daily from the pandemic, and I don't think it should be made light of like it would be in a roleplaying video. Imagine how many families are in distress because this virus killed a family member while some random KZbinr is posting a video related to the virus just to give people entertainment... not to mention that KZbin doesn't exactly like KZbinrs that even mention the coronavirus

Here's an idea: there's a giant bird big enough that it can even pick up a speedboat, and it's usual prey is stuff the size of dolphins, but due to the bird's existence dolphins have become far less common in the area, so for the sake of survival the bird now has to pick a different type of prey: humans. And it could start off with the bird grabbing a handful of beach-goers before it gradually starts "hunting" deeper and deeper in the city. And to make the bird even more frightening, it could be extremely resistant to guns so that it wouldn't really be until the military got directly involved that the bird was confronted by any sort of active threat. The closest reference I can think of off the top of my head would be a "Roc" from D&D, which is basically a gigantic and very aggressive eagle. And then even if the bird gets killed, it could have a nest hidden somewhere so that later one of it's babies could have grown up and then the now fully-grown baby could pick up where it's "mother" left off?
