In my sophomore year of high school, I interviewed the head chef, students, and kitchen staff to create awareness about our food sourcing and increase appreciation for our lunch. I filmed, edited, and presented this documentary to my school, Seabury Hall, which is in Maui, Hawaii.
This was a very meaningful project to me because it pushed me outside my comfort zone and allowed me to present diverse perspectives. I also included this project in my college application activities list that got me into Brown University!
