Honestly Mika can't even be considered Shota. Sure he's short but Shota are characters that looks like kids, sometimes act like kids and are tall like kids. Most of the time they are actual kids and sometimes not (like the Hunter x Hunter old lady that looks like a kid or Honey-Senpai from Ouran Host Club) and Mika definetely doesn't fit the Shota category. He also says that he drank alcohol once which makes clear he is a adult, even if it's actually already confirmed that all characters aside kids and Sayu are implied adults from 18 and older.

@StrawberryStar in the Genshin webtoon, it's mentioned that the law is 18 for drinking. this checks out because, in China, (where Hoyoverse is based) 18 is the drinking age. There are heavy censorship laws in China, meaning it's illegal for Hoyoverse to depict Mika drinking if he was underage. Which means he is 18+. Which is really hard to believe, but it's Hoyoverse.

Maybe if you go on the stream you can do that. I don't really know if he stream with his Asia account as well, I know he does with his Europe account for the Anemo only (not sure) and the free to play account where he's trying to reach 100k Primogems. I managed to play with him a few times, so if he stream and play with the Asia account or you can do a Europe account maybe you can play with him, even if I can understand it would be a bit annoying doing everything all over again on a new account. I don't really know if he does coop with his viewers on Asia, usually I only see him play coop on the Europe server.
