2020 was whem this song first really resonated with me. This song was on the radio when i was homeless driving around denver looking for my fiance on the way to a mental hospital we had just lost apartment job, belongings literally everything but the car.... she lost her rights to both her kids, constant numb dull feeling after 4 years of hard work, moving states, and lots of progress for fiance and her reuniting with her kids, you would think things would be better and now i have an apartment a car im able to pay bills on time mostly, but no matter how hard we work it doesnt mean things are going to work out still. "at least you tried" " your being too stubborn one day your going to break" i fight these thoughts too many times still.

This really hits hard as a person recently diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder along with bipolar (apparently, i dont believe the bipolar bit). I dont know what to do with myself. I’m only now realizing my childhood was abusive and its so hard to accept. I’m having to realize i have real issues and its so hard. I dont want this. I never wanted this. This diagnosis is so stigmatized, and being diagnosed has only fucked my self esteem further. I feel like a horrible person. And the fact that i will deal with this my entire lifetime is so unfair.

I found this song 15 years to the day (February 5th, 2021) of my step mom's passing. Also, 7 days until it marks 2 months that her son, my step brother (he was more like a regular big brother, father figure, and protector) passed away... Which then after his two month mark 5 days later is my 43 birthday. He died just two months to the day after turning 46 years young (NOT COVID RELATED)

TW I had been in a relationship for six years that slowly became mentally and sexually abusive. My boyfriend was a liar and a cheater, and he guilt tripped and manipulated me into doing what he wanted. Then one night he forced himself on me and straight up molested me.
