I know this will probably get lost but I just want too say what this song means too me... I found I Prevail at the worst time in my life. I guess I had always battled with sadness but I never truly knew it until this past summer... I somehow convinced myself that I was worthless and that everyone would be better off without me. These feelings came out of nowhere... as I lay there I decided I was gonna take me life... I started too type goodbye too my girlfriend and then realized I couldn’t do this too the ones that loved me... two weeks later she broke up with me... I had told no one and now she was gone... but I started listening to trauma... this song in particular... all of these emotions had hit me like a “hurricane”... I kept I Prevail on repeat for at least a month... then I couldn’t handle listening too any music because it reminded me of my pain I was feeling... throughout the past months I slowly started too listen to I Prevail again... using them as my anthems... too see that I was getting better... today was the first day I could listen too this song again... it reminded me of how strong I am. Too anyone going through anything. It gets better, I know it’s a cliche but it does... I never thought that I’d make it past last summer. Yet 8 months later I’m here and happier than ever... I’ve found a new girl... I got professional help... and I’m just happy too be alive. Never give up, never give in. Always fight your demons and never stop. I just want too say... thank you I Prevail... for being what got me through. Thank you for helping me get my life back... never give up. Always fight too get better

I'm a marine. I work in a charity that focuses on healing veterans through gaming. I have heard, seen and felt the deaths of so many brothers including my real little brother at 16. This song is one of the songs that got me to completely release. I have the burden to being the man that so many broken souls use to lean on. They don't know but overtime it has chipped more and more at my soul. I know the look and sounds of death. I understand the terrifying reality of someone regretting thier final decision. This song along with another allows me to just scream and scream in my car, cry while I'm pulled over and then lock back into reality. Thank you...so much

First off thank you for being brave enough to stand ready to protect our country. I can't imagine the impact of seeing someone you rode into battle with die. I will always admire the strength you and the rest of the men and women in the military have to be able to endure such pain and continue on. I suffer from clinical depression and do something similar to what you do with veterans. I'm not saying it's similar in the fact that it's the same severity of what veterans have gone through but I try and help people overcome their depression by being there as a buddy to game with. I'm not a part of a charity or anything, but I'm part of a community that helps people through depression. One of the things that I use to keep myself strong is the fact that there are people counting on me to be there so I focus on helping others and in turn that helps me heal, even more so when I've made a noticeable impact on someone. I've made a lot of good friends through this. I do have family members who are in the military, mostly Marine aviators, but they all tell me the same thing: "I had my spirit broken down and built back up into the spirit of a fighter. I was trained to never quit and never surrender to anything internally or externally. My mission is to live on for the brothers and sisters of mine who couldn't." I've started using that as my motivation to help others, and I hope this helps you. :)

Two days ago that same friend I’m talking about, called me at 1 am, standing on a bridge about to jump. I couldnt leave work, but I did anyways after talking to him on the phone for an hour. My girlfriend and her friend beat me there but I was so happy nothing happened to him. These songs help me get through what I’m going through and I’m glad they help you too. My friend is doing better now. We’ve been best friends for 7 years and I can not lose him. He’s basically all I’ve got and I worry so much about him. For years, I didn't think any singer or band could come as close to Linkin Park and how their music resonated with me. After Chester Bennington died, It hit me a lot harder than I ever thought it actually would. As a crisis counselor, I had to take personal time away from helping others so that I could help myself. That's when I Prevail came into the picture. Trauma isn't just a great album by talented musicians. It's also a very personal chronicle of overcoming those struggles and rising above them. I respect and admire I Prevail even more for the strength it must have taken to be completely honest with themselves, those who are around them, and the rest of us that listen to their music and watch their videos. In an 'Age of Apathy', It's refreshing to see a band who strives for individual and collective growth and places that above trying to fit into an existing mold. I love you all, my dudes. I've been listening to I Prevail for a few years now. I fell in love with the Blank Space cover, found Crossroads, and loved the album. The same year I found your music (2016, if Spotify is correct), my uncle, who I was pretty close to, passed away. I almost relapsed back into self-harm after 2 or 3 years clean. I learned a love about myself that year, including some of the things I was really struggling with. The next year, I lost another uncle and moved across the country. I have a handful of songs of yours that I've heard, but none of them have left my playlists since I started listening. I don't get sick of the music, I scream it at the top of my lungs sometimes. I may not be a deep dedicated fan at the moment (but I want to get deeper into the music), but even as a casual fan, the music you all have made has impacted me in ways I couldn't express in an essay, never mind a youtube comment that you might never see. But thanks for trying to be as authentic as you can; it's connecting with people and I think we all appreciate it.

The devil is a lie. By this I mean....this disease is a liar. It tells us we are alone, and he's just as convincing as he is handsome. You are not alone. You have never been alone and will never be alone. To say that you are your own worst enemy can be just as self destructive and negative as the self criticism many suffer who live with mental health struggles. You are not your own worst enemy...you were just lied to by this little voice inside of your head that dressed up as a piece of yourself. You are not alone. You are not weak. You are not defined by your illness. Pain demands to be felt, and the shit it puts us through truly makes you a bad ass. Keep reaching out. You are finding your voice.

I know that empty feeling. I've been on my own since I was 9. I wasn't terribly important to my parents. All I had was music. I'd sit in my room and reading listing to music. All the time. I got older and found out 2 years ago that I was sick with a mental health condition that I can never get rid of. It ended my career in the military. Once again all I had to fall back on was music. It took a little over a year to get on the right medication. I have to take more than 3. In that year I listened to nothing but Pierce the Veil, I prevail, and A Day to remember. Thank you so much for helping me out of that dark place because I really thought I was gonna die.

Ik you guys may never see this but there was good that came from when your bus caught fire. I was a 14 year old girl who just gotten surgery on her right arm and the day after I went to the neck deep and Pierce the veil concert. You guys were the first to play and Vic had announced why. Ever since then I fell in love with your music. I’ve even showed my friends and we all listen to you. October 15th 2016 was such a great memorable night for me. I’m sorry you lost so much but we fans care so much about you. Never give up the passion in your heart.

A couple years later this album has gotten me through some shit. I'll even be as dramatic to say it saved my life. Words can never express how much I appreciate this album. I know the guys from I Prevail will never see this but for anyone going through a rough time... reach out, get the help. Men, women or anything in between all suffer from mental health in some capacity. Stop the stigma. Never give up, someone will listen.

A little story of mine and about how I fell in love with this band. It was a really weird time for me, dealing with grief and the loss of my girlfriend. I was watching couple of videos everyday and lay in bed. I saw this song in my recommendations every time but I wasn't really open for newer stuff. Then I just did it, overcome myself and heard this song. It was truly like a hurricane you guys came over me. To this day, I haven't had a band where I liked the music of so much.

Ive been in a very distressed state of mind for the past year of my life and it is the absolute hardest thing i have ever had to deal with. I have the best of days, the highest of highs and it takes one thing to break me down and bring me to tears and just force upon myself that im worthless. ive found something that helps me cope, streaming on twitch and just talking to people, chatting, having fun, talking to everyone, being an entertainer.... but i realize that i just hide shit and its not healthy... i still have not found my way of dealing with it. one day, its songs and people like these that help tremeandously when im having a bad day. it will always get better if we let it, but we just have to learn how to get better... and thats not easy. cheers guys, and music fans alike, were all in this world together, noone knows what the next person is going through, so lets all care for eachother and share the life we live in the best way.

I know this will be forgotten, but I Prevail you have done more for me than even I can say. You were there when I lost my baby cousin, and when I nearly lost my mother to cancer. Your music has brought me smiles and closure and everything in between. Thank you for being who you are.

When i listen to this song, i think about the main message that they’re expressing. But, at the same time im connecting their message to my life. And this song hits differently than any other rock song out there. As i listen, i feel happiness and feel like this song puts my mind into a resting stage. It makes me want to just listen to it on loop all day everyday. Its an amazing song. Iprevail is definitely the band we need today.
