What’s interesting is that while the Wings era has the overarching theme of moving from childhood to adulthood with the attendant temptations of new ways of thinking and experiencing life, their solo songs are based on more individual, personal themes. I always appreciated that for the expanse of creativity it afforded them in writing the songs This comeback video is part of what a new comeback (album release) used to be like, and was insanely breakneck-paced, chaotic, sleep-deprived fun imaginable I confess to missing it all Kudos to you for maintaining your composure through the many many interruptions

47:25 complaining about your family “distracting” you is craaazy when there’s “reaction channels” out there literally just staring at a screen for 10 minutes without saying anything and calling it a day (while getting thousands of views lol) but also like we all have lives outside of the internet (or just work in general) and you feel comfortable enough to show us glimpses of that, bcs you’re genuine and the tribe is special to you, and to me that says a lot about your attitude towards this youtube thing (in a very positive way). you’re close with your family and you don’t mind leaving those bits in (and like you said, it is indeed very amusing to see y’all interacting 😭) and to me that’s pretty cool, not only bcs you seem to value the people close to you, but also bcs it’s literally just showing stuff other people might cut out while editing (which is fine), but not leaving it in doesn’t change the fact that it will happen, that’s literally your family and you won’t just ignore them to record a video that you can just continue recording at any time 😭 i feel like people on the internet are just so angry at the most mundane things, it’s actually fascinating (in a very sad way lol)

This was the album I was introduced to when my friend first told me about BTS - literally like a week or two after the album dropped, she had me listen to a few songs from it - but I continued with my life not being an ARMY (don't worry, I'm still kicking myself for it) until Dec 2020 when I discovered them all over again and have been here since! WINGS is proooobably gonna change your life, dude! I still can't believe this album came out the same year as Beyoncé's Lemonade album....WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!!!
