My favorite memory of Pokémon actually occurred just this last October. My daughter got into the show (she’s about to turn 4), so I wanted to do something fun for her. I turned our living room into a movie theater and set up a little concession stand, even ordered a sealed Entei promo card for her. She got to come home from daycare, grab her snacks and promo card from the concession stand and watch the 3rd movie. We watched it twice before I told her we had to get ready for bed. Lol Now she still talks about her movie night and loves Entei. Which is super cool because Entei has always been my favorite Pokémon! She is very protective of that promo card. Lol

my favorite gen is gen 2! My favorite memory was playing Pokemon Crystal, obviously I loved G/S but Crystal just improved on the experience even more. I fell in love with Cyndaquil and the Johto region! The music, the fact you can go back to kanto, the new pokemon just best games ever. TPC really outdid themselves with HG/SS best pokemon games of all time btw ;)

Gen 1 will always be top tier for me just for the simple fact that I spent my childhood coming home from school to watch pokemon, but gen 2 will also be close to my heart, who didn't have their minds blown when more pokemon was discovered.

I started with gen 1. My first game was Red. But my absolute favourite gen is 3. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Hoenn as a whole was the most fun I've had playing a pokemon game. I loved the designs for pretty much every gen3 pokemon. The designs are treecko, torchic and mudkip through all of their respective evolution lines are brilliant aswel. The amount of replays I do through on Emerald is stupid. Steven was so cool and mysterious from meeting him in the granite cave to then finding out he was the champion all along. Having your father as a gym leader was something fresh, new which I also like alot. Then we got AROS which has been my favourite remake to date, especially as they included mega evolution, and also looks to be better than the DP remakes we are getting this year.

Gen 1. Although, one of my fave memories is technically gen 2. At a mall in New Ulm, MN. 2003ish. There was this little card shop. I won an expedition pack in a claw machine game and pulled a holo charizard and I also bought 2 packs of neo destiny and pulled shining charizard. My mom lost my childhood collection when she lost a storage locker years later. No worries, though, now I have a new awesome growing collection with my own kids.

Usually 8 V or better per box has been a pretty reliable avg since S&S based on deriumspokemon openings which he opens up 100s of boxes from customers

Gen 1 does hold a lot of nostalgia for me but I liked Pokemon Gold Edition more than the original ones. Also my most favorite TCG set is Neo Genisis. If they released Evolutions 2.0 featuring 2nd Gen I would totally go crazy!

Don't see anyone explaining rapid strike or single strike meaning. In sword and shield the Urshifus (idk if i wrote it right and im at the Tyranitar pull not going to rewind 😂) they have different attacks the water type makes 3 consecutive atks with guaranteed crit and the other Urshifu has an attack that deals only one strike with a guaranteed crit.
