Recently gold players have been pulling off insane upsets. They never lose to plat lol, usually lose up to Diamond/Ascendant. I think there was one gold player that reached up to immortal. Gold players are just different..

Average aim between (most) ranks is relatively the same, the difference is skill in other aspects like team play or positioning Aim however is the dominant factor in 1v1s which is why they win here

As someone stuck in bronze, I think there is a steep climb from bronze to silver. I once got into silver because of good teammates, but I got kicked back down to bronze because I'm not good enough.
