Acoustic strings are not magnetic, like electric guitar strings, so the magnets on electric can't pick up the strings, and it makes no sound. So if u get something like bronze it won't work

Only if the specific kind has magnetic properties or else it won't work. It slowly breaks the neck cause acoustic strings r tighter than electric strings.

Bro, it’s 2024 and I just went to the music store in Vancouver Canada and the same pack of electric guitar strings was $35💀💀💀💀 and he paid seven dollars💀💀💀💀💀 anyways, just telling you now if you’re nut 😅 falls off of your guitar, you need to take that to a professional or else it won’t stay in tune if you still have the guitar in 2024

acoustic strings... shouldn't be put on an electric guitar, pickups use magnetic waves to read sound, electric strings are steel to get the best magnetic pull, acoustic use copper strings and other alloy, which is more sturdy and structurely thicker, which gives it a larger vibration and more waves for the hollow body to bounce around those sounds... this shouldn't work..

That's what I thought, but apparently, some strings used on acoustic have magnetic properties, and some acoustic guitars do use steel. Electric guitars use nickel strings.
