Can you do “Teams in their prime year, but those players are in their prime as well” so the 2014 Thunder with KD, Russ and Harden in their prime AND prime Serge Ibaka, Caron Butler, and Steven Adams added as well

You also messed up Pelicans who were originally the Hornets. The current Hornets were an expansion team of the Charlotte Bobcats. Hornets were founded in 1988 to 2002 where they moved to and were called the New Orleans Hornets and had a brief stint in 2005 to 2007 range as Oklahoma City Hornets before going back to New Orleans Hornets from 2007 to 2013 where they were rebranded New Orleans Pelicans. Charlotte Bobcats restarted in 2004 thru 2013 as the Bobcats then rebranded to Hornets when the Pelicans changed their name. Anthony Davis was drafted in 2012 to the New Orleans Hornets. Baron Davis was drafted by the Charlotte Hornetsin 1999 but moved to New Orleans with the team that drafted him. If you go the way you did then you have to keep all players in the city they were drafted in. Off the top of my head the Utah Jazz were originally New Orleans so those players could not play for the Jazz since you did that for the Hornets. Lots of other teams with the same thing. The main thing is New Orleans kept the Charlotte players when they moved because they were that franchise. The current Hornets did not get any players back when the made a new team 2 years later as the Bobcats Would be no different if Houston Texans changed their name back to Oilers. The actual Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee and rebranded. Houston would only exist since 2001 or 2002 their expansion year. Baltimore Colts would be the oddest one as they moved to Indianapolis but Cleveland moved to Baltimore(and kept Cleveland players.

the current Hornets franchise history includes the Bobcats, as well the Hornets 2002 and earlier. Pelicans franchise history begins in 2003. That’s what I base these videos off of. Yes Baron is a weird loophole because he moved with the team.

technically kobe should be on the pelicans. He was draft to the charlotte hornets in the 1990's not bobcats

it’s super confusing, but the Pelicans franchise history only dates back to 2004. The Hornets history dates back to the 80’s-00’s, then skips forward to when they because the Bobcats again.

Not sure Kobe to Hornets should count. That was a pre draft trade and the Hornets were picking for the Lakers. Lakers told them to take Kobe and the Hornets have openly said if they were keeping the pick it would not have been Kobe. They were fringe playoff team and wanted an instant help player not a long term project(no one knew Kobe would become Kobe or he would have been the #1 pick). I do see you said you kept it that way for everyone. Using Luka as an example. The Hawks were open to keeping Luka if Mavs did not meet their asking price. So the 2 cases are a little different. Hawks would have kept Luka(and should have, I was mad draft night them trading him) and the Hornets would not have ended up with Kobe
