This is why many wrestling leagues changed to day of weigh ins. I use to get a weigh in 12 hours before I would wrestle. Matches start 8am Saturday and I would hit the scale 8pm Friday night. Worst part was I was such a lightweight I didn’t have anyone in my division most times I would wrestle up about 10lbs worst was 30lbs

Yeah it sucks. Sorta had to figure it out myself for my first fight. I dropped 21 pounds and had never intentionally dropped a pound in my life. I walked around about 155 and fought at 135. Dieted a little and I was obviously in the gym. Then the sauna did the rest(with sauna suit). That was the most shocking part to me. I was sitting down for most of my time in the sauna and a pool of sweat had formed in my lap without noticing. So when I went to get up this large amount of sweat hit the floor like I dropped a jug of water.
