Please Note: less muzzle velocity is NOT a con. It can be a pro. If you are fighting a peeker, just prefire the the location when they hide, they usually peek and catch the bullet. You can also take advantage of this as a peeker too. (We call this the peeker’s advantage). Basically you fire then hide when they peek. This is how I typically fight with the Nagant silencer for head shots catches.

Little known fact that you forgot to mention when talking about the silenced version. Adding high-velocity ammo to a silenced weapons is tempting, to compensate for the bullet velocity, but it adds a muzzle flash to the weapon. This is arguably not worth it, as about 40% of the point of a silencer is for the enemy to not immediately see where you are from that bright flash, it's especially problematic when you're trying to hide in bushes.

Oh wow, I didn't even know this was a thing lmao. Don't typically use silenced weapons or high velocity ammo.

The scopesmith trait does not do anything to the weapon sway. It allows you to stay in the scope view after each shot. This increases your rate of fire and makes it much easier to track your target for followup shots. It is also completely irrelevant for single shot or semi auto weapons. Steady hand helps with weapon sway for scopes, but the effect is not immediate. You have to aim trough the scope for a few seconds for it to gradually start decreasing your sway with the max benefit after 10s of continuous aiming trough the scope.

There it is lol. I realized a while after creating this video that I got them mixed up. Was wondering when someone would notice. I hardly use either of those traits, so it's not something I had engraved into my brain.

@@RingTheGinkster I was wondering that maybe you noticed afterwards, but you were not using it in the footage so I wasn't sure. For some of these weapons it can make a big difference. I almost never play Winfield without the iron eye / scopesmith trait, it would feel like I am not using the full potential of the weapon. Either I can retrain some trait I don't need or play a different weapons that does not need traits. With the recent recruitment changes, it has become very easy to get the traits you want even for your first game.

Yeah I don't typically use scopes. I like to get closer to my targets as I'm terrible at leading shots to begin with. I can certainly see the appeal in those traits though. Unlocking full weapon potential is great. Getting traits is really easy now. I don't have a problem with it, but it made legendary hunters a little obsolete.

Love your video man. The gameplay you had in your review is quite realistic for an average game of hunt.
