I agree with you. When my Mama passed away I was so damn angry. She left me with a indifferent unloving father and sister ( Dad's golden Child). I attempted suicide, and when I began waking up I heard my Dad and Sister praying for me. Asking God not to take his baby, her little Bubba, Dad and Karen hadn't called me those names since I was 10. I opened my eyes and said I thought you both would be happier if I went to be with Mama? They both got mad and then hugged me begging for my forgiveness. Some times love isn't enough. Especially when trust is lost! Trust like a mirrior once broken, it can be repaired but the reflection will never be the same or as pure. That's a fact of the human condition. I guess he felt that living looking over his shoulderor being a warden were he constantly had to be checking her phone, location or social media all the time was not a life he wanted and I can't and don't blame him.
