I have been bullet journaling for years now, but this year it just stopped working for me. In this video I talk about why I quit bullet journaling and what I am now using instead. I am still finding my way with this new system and so I expect my journal will evolve and change as I walk further down this new path.
I have absolutely no regrets about the time I spent bullet journaling. I still think it is a great system. But I am excited to see how this new method supports me as I implement other changes in my life.
TLDR
I am no longer bullet journaling
I am using a digital calendar system for appointments
I am using Notion for SO MANY THINGS!
I am using phone notes for my dream log
I am using other apps for recording things like meals and workouts
I will revisit this as I figure out what works. It feels really freeing!
The bullet journals I show in this video are Tsuki B5 journals from Notebook Therapy.
I have a LOT of journaling content on my channel, including plan with me • Witchy PLAN WITH ME Vi...

Welcome kindred, I’m Jessica.
I’m on a magical, healing adventure with journaling, tarot, astrology, and creative self discovery. Here I share the tools, inspiration, and resources I gather along my path of deepening self-awareness and connection with All That Is.
My intention for this channel is for it to be a soothing and sacred space which meets you where you are on your journey of creative exploration and spiritual connection; a place where you can come to find ideas and inspiration - gathered over my decades of journaling, witchery, and working with the cards - to help you to weave your own authentic and life affirming practices. Practices which are rooted in a deeper understanding of this world as a place where magic is real, and where we can work with our own stories to weave what happens next.
I would love for you to come along on this journey with me.

I used a bullet journal from 2012 until like 2019. It stopped working for me because of the pandemic, but also because i discovered bullet journaling youtubers and a counts on instagram and i noticed everyone was very into the decoration and making it pretty and a million spreads, and so bullet journaling turned into a chore. It used to be a productivity tool for me, genuinely a productivity tool that helped me through undergrad and graduate studies, but the pressure of making it pretty got to me. People focus too much on the decoration and not enough on the system, i think that is one of the reasons why it fails.

There is so much shared on bullet journaling which has very little to do with the original method. And I don’t mind that, I love seeing those gorgeous journals, but it’s often not really bullet journaling as it was originally intended. I think where I lost the plot with it wasn’t so much with the decoration etc. I actually love that and find it helpful and soothing (though I totally agree with what you said about it shouldn’t feel like a chore) but I wanted a way of planning which was less about productivity and more about self-exploration. I may come back to the original method in the future, but for now I’m carving out some space to play and see what happens. I hope you find a system which serves you and your goals moving into next year ❤️

Incredible timing (as always!) on showing your revamped system. I binge-watched your old journaling videos last weekend to get inspired and to find a way to reset. I want so much to be organized and have a place to exist and grow, but I struggle with the systems and consistency. I love the direction you're going and love that you're offering permission to get away from traditional bullet journaling and into this more magical and vulnerable place. I appreciate as well this figuring out as you go method. I can start experimenting today and see what'll work in the future. Not just wait for the perfect inspiration to hit and then get started. I started really deep diving into goal setting last night and finding different ways to get at what's really important to me. Away from the shoulds and into a beautiful space of authenticity. This video is offering a new perspective that I greatly needed! Thank you for all that you offer 💖

What a beautiful and honest video. I've always admired your bullet journals and how clever they were, as you had somehow found a way to combine the beautful layouts with functional use. Something I had given up after only a year of bullet journaling back in 2017. As I was at loss for how to continue, I ended up getting the book by Ryder Carol, the one who invented the method and what I soon learned from everything he wrote is to make it yours. It's something that you adjust for yourself, so it works for you. Since then I have notebooks with a specific purpose; tarot learning/spreads, commonplace notebook for random scribbles, a notebook for my penpals, something for my fountain pens and inks and so on. The day to day things like to do lists, grocery lists, mealplanning are all digital, as well as my calendar. Somet things I did keep from the method are the use of an index and the idea of a key, everything else is gone for now in my system. Anyway, thank you for giving us permission to finding our own way in this. I would love to see more about how you set up Notion and look forward to seeing how you continue on this path. ❤

Thank you Sarah ❤️ it sounds like you have found a way which is working for you, and it sounds really fun too. I always love the idea of a commonplace book! I definitely need my journal to be practical and functional as well as pleasing for me to look at and use, which I think is why I panicked a bit when I didn’t need a lot of my usual spreads anymore. But like you said it’s finding what works for us. And that seems to be shifting for me now.

I moved over to doing a similar method at the beginning of 2022! I really like the practicality of having Notion for planning day-to-day and projects. I can use it literally anywhere, I can move things, delete them, it's perfect. But I love using a physical journal for artistic spreads. Setting up for the new year, trackers, random artsy spreads that I'm inspired to create. I like to call it my fandom journal because it's usually just dedicated to me creatively enthusing over things I love. I'm still trying to find that perfect balance of what goes into Notion vs physical journal and still trying to figure out all of Notion's features, but I think it works really well for me. Now if I could just get more consistent with USING this great system I've set up...

This was so affirming to see. Notion has changed my life. It’s ironic, I wanted to start bullet journaling because I found your videos. But after two years of not being able to start or finish I realized maybe it wasn’t how I needed to organize my life and occult practice. I’m a graphic designer professionally and notion felt so natural and accessible to me. I didn’t need to worry about “ruining” a spread. But like you said, there are still things I want to keep physical and not in notion.

❤️ I’m glad this resonated with you Em. I bet your Notion is beautiful. I can get carried away seeing the ways other people plan and work on personal growth and want to use their systems. But then I find it doesn’t work and I used to think it was something wrong with me, but I’m coming around to the idea that it’s the system not me - and it sounds like you’re in that place too ❤️ I think figuring out what works for us, as individual creative people, is part of the learning of journaling. And it’s a big part of the magic 🦋

Your journaling videos was what got me started with my witchy grimoire/bullet journaling. I've tweaked it over the two years that I've been using it, so I understand the revamping after a while. I love calling it a spiritual book more than a bullet journal. I have a lot of different journals set up for different items, so I also feel a bit scattered but its hard to get everything into one book. I love your idea about the houses, so I might try to incorporate that into my new junk grimoire I'm making. Sacred journal - that’s a perfect way to describe it. Thank you for sharing that Beth ❤️ I’ve made a note about making a time lord video, but in case you want to get started on it straight away, you need to know which (whole sign) house you are in. Basically in your first year of life you are in the first house, between 1-2 in second etc. so count around until you find your current year (counting first year as zero because it’s 0-1). Then see what’s the ruling planet of that house and that is your time lord.

Jessica, I absolutely love all your videos, and especially the journaling ones. I am like you, I love watching videos of personal journals because I always find something that inspires me and that I can introduce into my own spiritual practice. It’s so lovely to see the evolution of your bullet journal - and I’m curious to see how it evolves in the future as well. I’d love to hear your thought process of how you have decided to “split” you different areas of life into different systems, Notion and what not. I discovered Notion two years ago and I’ve been on and off with it for these years, testing what works and what doesn’t work for me. Nowadays, I use Notion for big picture life & business planning and also as a hub for all my other sources and systems (basically, links to other places where my tasks, content and detailed plans are stored). I don’t store much private or sensitive information, or anything that I want to keep long terms in Notion for two reasons - at the time when I was checking it, it was difficult to migrate the content out of Notion if you ever decide to do it, and besides, privacy wise, it was not the best. However, I still love and use it for those things that I don’t need to keep forever. I’ve also tried digital journaling and even digital bullet journaling (my IPad made me do it 😂), but I came back to pen and paper recently and it just feels so much better. Being able to flip those pages, touch everything… Oh, that’s something that I love so much, and I can’t do it with digital journals.
@JessicaandtheMoon
@JessicaandtheMoon Жыл бұрын
Thank you Irina ❤️ I always love reading your comments, so thought-full. I think they have improved the ability to get things back out of Notion (though it’s not pretty, like CSV files) but the privacy is still an issue. That’s one of the reasons I haven’t fully committed to keeping my home educating records in there. I like how it works with other software to organise things though, like I have it synced with my Readwise and I love that my notes are all imported. I’m kind of going for that whole second brain thing, but only finding my way with it at the moment. I started playing with it in June I think? And it poached a lot of time from my physical notebook, which I didn’t mind at first because I was having fun leaning and setting up my pages. But after a while I missed the physical journaling, exactly like you described. I have a need for that which is deeper than a planning system.

Yep I Loved this. I think a thorough check in/overhaul is one of my favourite things / most important tools generally (yet I resist it often) and I think it can be harder than it sounds (letting go of things we have found to be ‘our way’) but also so much more powerful than it sounds too…I found this v exciting and loved how you showed how you intricately worked out what you needed and showed how you transitioned into the new way, how you felt your way through, as that’s often a difficult process to explain or learn/do and doesn’t always get shown, but it is so important/integral as that’s how to find your way! I’ve defo found that my TN setup has kept shifting quite a bit which always shows/tells me a lot. I haven’t switched to anything digital so I found that v cool to see, but I guess I do find that my iPhone notes and camera roll do informally (lol) feel important to me. ♥️✨🌙

❤️ thank you I think there’s a lot of “informal” journaling that’s going on now. Like on social media, but also more private things like camera rolls and phone notes. I wonder what effect that less conscious journaling has compared to mindful journaling? Maybe it doesn’t matter.
@matildamyrtlemay
@matildamyrtlemay Жыл бұрын
@@JessicaandtheMoon Yea totally- that’s interesting! I’m often interested in (in mine personally) whether there’s accidentally a sort of ‘narrative voice’ or a self consciousness. And the balance between wanting to be perfectionisty and love it but also wanting to use it for the messiness of trying things or working through things! I’ve come to love the rawness of iPhone notes partly because it’s always when I’m in a rush and I think they feel less conscious, and less self conscious! But at the same time they are also only snippets rather than deep dives or mindful chosen exploration, so it feels like they have different roles I guess, which is why it’s so cool to keep working all those details out and find what works 😍

You're journals are beautiful! I also started to fall away from paper journalling. I'm a teacher and I found that I just didn't have the time or energy to make the spreads I wanted to make. Plus, I hated having to carry all my supplies around. I was getting frustrated with myself and my journal. I switched to digital journalling 4 years ago and I haven't felt the desire to go back once. It is extremely easy to make it pretty and aesthetic. You can still layer and be creative. I also LOVE adding QR codes of videos so I can go back and watch them! As much as I love my iPad and apple pencil I did miss having a physical journal. About 2 years into my digital journey I starting following Luxbook planners and Kristin has specific vlogs about how she prints her journals at the end of the year. I really recommend checking out her channel and instagram. I now have a physical copy of my journal. It has my handwriting and beautiful spreads. Plus for days that I don't really feel like writing I can just type up what I want to journal about.

Hi Kayla, Thank you for watching! This seems really stupid to say but I've never actually thought about getting a digital journal printed, but that makes so much sense, especially if it's a journal for a specific project or trip, which you might want to physically flip through. I love it! Thank you so much for that tip. I will check out Luxbook planners. I'm glad you've found a system which works for you

Awe, you're a Libra rising as well 🩷 I'm a 6th Pisces sun which is where my Venus is, and 5th house Pisces holds my North Node as well as Mercury. But I love how beautiful your journal is. I have had a bit of an opposite transition in my journaling. I've used spiral notebooks and I started with putting everything including chores and shopping lists into it, but I have began artistic self exploration books that make me want to separate my spiritual journey from my mundane daily writing down. I did the Elizabeth Moore "Create This Book" in 2023 and it really felt special to decorate it artistically and make the book into an extension of self. I'd like to take that practice into my journalling, and begin moon journaling again as I did for years but fell off the habit. I am using the 2024 Witches' Companion by Lewellyn to sort of help guide me back into practice and give me clear tasks to work on over the year as I settle back into myself. Thank you for sharing such a personal piece of yourself. It is truly inspiring.

Your journals look so nice! I’ve been trying to journal for like two years, but I never found something that sticks. I think I get too caught up in what people put into their journals and then I realise that my life is quite boring. I don’t really need to do lists or appointments because I just keep track of them using a note on my phone. The thing I kept going the longest was more of a diary. Hello Jessica! I just found your channel for the first time by searching for other types of "Bujo" but not strictly Bujo videos if that makes sense. Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I've been journaling on and off since I was 9 yrs old. Some years have been droughts moreso than others. I found the Bujo community about a year and a half ago and always knew I wanted to take the aesthetic elements of these types of bujos I see online, but that the full Monty of Bujo wasn't for me. I started out with Ryder Carol's method, but tracking all of my mundane tasks on paper and having to transfer takes over and over drives me nuts, LOL. ☺️ Since them, I've moved to a digital system as well for the mundane stuff, including daily and weekly trackers. But certain elements I have to keep in a book (or several!) 📚 I like having a monthly cover page and calendar and then want to keep the rest more free flowing for thoughts, memories, art, reading journal type book spreads, and the like. I continue to hone it all as I find what's working and not working for me as well! I love that you use your journal for your spiritual work. I'm a student of green witchery and have thoughts about using journals for a more artistic rendition of a materia medica, plant journal of my own plants with phases of the moon, and the like. I enjoyed this video very much and will checking out more of your videos❣️

This really resonated with me because I have been doing something similar for a while. I could never get into bullet journaling and I think the reason was that I needed that separation between mundane and magical, like you said. I use Google calendar for all my mundane work stuff, and I used to use Teux Deux for my to-do lists (but i'm now adding all of that into google calendar due to cost). I could use Google Keep too but I try and keep that uncluttered, especially separating work from personal stuff. I also started using Notion this year and love it! Next year, I think i'm going to combine my weekly gratitude journalling prompts with my monthly card readings so that I actually see them and reflect on them more. Currently, I pull my monthly cards and then forget what they even said, but without fail, I always do my weekly gratitude journalling.

Just a suggestion, we shouldn't really call.our journals "bullet" journals if we barely use a single actual bullet journal rule or method. BuJo is a very specific kind of journaling. And when people search for "bullet journal" techniques and vids, it's difficult to find anything mixed in with the far more prevalent Art journals, aesthetic journals, straight up diaries, Book of Shadows, Grimoires, Tarot journals, heavily modified planners, etc.
@JessicaandtheMoon

I’m sorry this wasn’t what you were looking for Jenna. I was originally using the original Ryder Carroll bujo method but it did get more personalised along the way with decorative elements and some deviations from the system. That’s why I made this video, because I feel that I’ve stepped so far away from that bullet journal concept that I no longer call what I’m doing bullet journaling. Although, there are some things which are so helpful in that system which I have retained, like the index and numbering the pages, and the mindful aspect of tracking goals and projects, copying them over.

@@JessicaandtheMoon makes sense--both take a little time to learn and it takes time to see how things fit into your life. I find Obsidian is great if I have a large quantity of documents I want to revisit, draw learnings from, or make connections between. Notion I like best for the templates, the look of it, and creating a place to put a central hub I will revisit for a project. But I definitely LOVE the huge ahas that are coming from Obsidian since it has better search features and doesn't rely on hierarchy as much for document organization, so it's easier for me to stuff it with everything I think and feel. I end up surprising myself with what I end up creating or discovering between my diffferent notes in Obsidian. I definitely am a fan of both, so important insights end up getting copied twice in both places, and that works for me!

I started with digital journalling, but it never worked. Since I started a physical bullet journal, it changed me in so much positive ways, and some things would never have changed if done digitally. For example, making sure my perfectionism is not getting in the way of life, which it did, but due to my bujo, I learned nothing have to be perfect, just good enough, and even though it did hurt when I made mistakes in it, by just leaving them, I get reminded by this, and I got better in life. This aspect would never have been improved if digitally worked for me. Also, I found my way of bullet journalling, and even though I add some art on the "monthly" (or 3-weekly for me), I do not for the rest, and use it more for the daily journalling like in the original idea, and that works so well! Things like grocery shopping lists and meetings/events I need to share with my husband are also scheduled in my digital calendar though, so a mix of physical and digital where it makes sense is indeed a good way of doing it. Just see what works for you. As for trackers, I only have 1, sometimes 2 pages for trackers in the long run, like my weight, my overtime at work, etc... the really important things. All other trackers are just not that important for me, and even though I did them in the beginning, the value is just not big enough for the time spending on them.

Thank you for this comment ❤️ I agree so much with what you said about the necessary imperfection of keeping an analog journal is a huge part of the learning and growth. It’s far easier to achieve the illusion of perfection in a digital format, but where’s the learning in that?

@DieterPrivate
@DieterPrivate Жыл бұрын
@@noblethoughts4500 Hi, it's actually a very practical reason, one that could help lots of people starting with bullet journalling, as I believe that a major reason why people can't keep doing it is the timing of all things. Let me explain. When I wanted to start with bullet journalling, I watch a lot of KZbin videos and other content online to find out how it works and how I could do it, but there were several things that stood out to me as being not practical, in that I don't have time during the week to prepare something, neither will I know up front where I'll end to prepare up-front. I mostly do the daily journalling like the original method suggests, and that's the main thing I do, it works pretty well and is very handy, but that means you can't prepare nothing in advance, as some weeks I have only 1 sheet filled, some 3 sheets, depending on if I do long-form journalling in it too. That's why I had to find a solution to prepare monthly sheets in the weekend, when I have time to do that. Then another problem came up. Each month has different days, and thus it doesn't always fit nice in an A5 notebook. I write somewhat bigger than most people, and thus I need quiet some space, so most months will not fit with a todo list on a single sheet. These 2 things combined made me think I should better do something in weeks, and I could put 4 weeks on a single page, so that's already better, I can plan in the weekend on a regular basis, so no stress on planning ahead or not having time to plan, and I can always use the same layout, so it's quick. But then, when you come to the end of the period, it's hard to see at a glance what's coming up, and then you could forget to prepare for those things, you could forget them. And thus I started with a 3 week period, and a week on the same page as a view on what's coming up, so I can plan ahead if needed. I never tried anything else really, I though this out for some months before actually starting to bullet journal :D. Yes, I'm a thinker. For the layout, I did try out some layouts to see what fits best, and I came to one that I'm now using for more than a year, and it's amazing, regular planning, easy layout, and when I feel extra artsy, I do some bigger design, and sometimes it's just some washi tape and highlighters. It's not really necessary, but I like some colour and drawings on it. If you're curious on how it looks like, you can find me on Instagram: instagram.com/dg.arty/ . I use week numbers to keep track of where we are, as we also use them at work, I'm very used to them. So I don't have the need to have full months on a single period. Also, the week to plan ahead is very practical for work too, because I have to ask holidays and leaves in advance, and thus that 4th week is already planned on those to be sure I get them. This is really working for me. I hope my long explanation answers your questions. I really love my bullet journal and how it helps me, so I do like to talk about it :)

I used to journal, including all my tarot readings and astrology, much like you do. Why I stopped is I gave my life to Jesus Christ. He opened my eyes to why my life wasn't working for me. He literally set me free from a bad man who oppressed me for 16 years, gave me an amazing husband, gave me beautiful land on the mountain overlooking the sea, and more. Every day I am blown away by his blessings. I had no idea how the enemy comes to destroy us, who Jesus is, or how much love he has for us. I was surprised when I started reading the Bible how relevant and profound it still is today. I pray you find Jesus too. He is the answer to every problem, I promise you. God bless you sister! 🙏💞

I’m glad that you are in a good place now with people who love you ❤️ I don’t normally reply to the evangelical Christian comments I get on my videos because they’re usually pretty hate fuelled, but I made an exception because your comment was actually really sweet. Thank you. I do have Jesus in my life, and his mother Mary too. And they are both happy for me to communicate with spirit and nature using cards and astrology. (And I know that dogma priests will say that means it’s not Jesus I’m in contact with, which is a convenient circular argument 😆). I don’t subscribe to the dogma of patriarchal religion. But I appreciate your prayers. And there is a lot of good magic in the bible. Blessings to you on your path ❤️

I did try digital journaling last year! It held for me for a little less than a year. At the time, it made sense to digital journal because I was already using my iPad so much for note taking and I was most concerned with portability. There are several things which I did like about the digital journaling. - It’s much cheaper if you are artistic. - It’s much easier to add photos to your journaling. - It easy to share the journal as well because it’s already in a digital format! And it will be in super high quality! - It’s also very portable. You only need to take your iPad and your Apple pencil around. Eventually, I did stop when I began to settle down and I didn’t need to travel as often. I feel like there is less satisfaction with digital journaling overall. Because your journal is not physically in your hands, you don’t get to turn the pages of your journal like a manifestation of turning through your life. You swipe through your journal instead and I felt less of a connection to my journal in that way.

Thank you so much for this thorough comment Nicole 🙏🏻 There are so many great things about digital journaling, but it seems like, despite this, that lack of the tactile quality makes it less satisfying as a long term option. I don’t have my iPad yet (I’m still thinking about it/ working out which one to get that is the best option and not crazy expensive) but I am going to experiment with keeping some aspects in a digital format, even though I kind of know I already agree with what you said 😆❤️

I tried bullet journaling several times in the past, and only now I know why I kept failing. I aimed to be like other people (aesthetics, complicated designs, etc.), and by doing so, I lost the objectives of the journal itself. Now I see bullet journaling from the perspective of its practicality rather than only its aesthetic appeal. I mean, as far as I know, it's invented to adjust with what you need in a journal without following a conventional planner template. So, I believe it doesn't have to be super cute or beautiful or artsy. The most important thing is how it can be used everyday. I've tried bullet journaling again, but this time without using other people as standard. I simply use it to track my mood, habit, and project progress, as well as to record daily gratitude. Other things, like planning, I do on my phone on laptop. Gotta agree that Notion is an amazing tool for that. I love Notion.

Yes, I think the heart of the bullet journaling method, as Ryder Carroll explains it, is really practical and valuable. And I’m glad that you’re finding it works for you (and not getting dragged into how other people are doing it). I may come back to using the core method in the future, but for me it was too active - maybe that’s not the right word - it was like I chose what I wanted to focus on and kind of forced it through. Which is great in some ways, you get stuff done, but actually made me feel kind of one-sided. I needed to find a way of planning that was more receptive and less practical 😆 which seems weird, but just what I need at the moment. Thank you for watching and I hope you continue to enjoy using your bujo in the way that works for you ❤️

How the planets synchronise us all.... When I came back to the land of the living in June this year bullet journalling didn't work for me any longer. I had house life admin in one journal and my spiritual shizzle in another. I am still not 100% in my recovery and to be honest it has to be a paradigm shift going forward with acknowledgment and acceptance a big part of that. So the time I used to afford to decorating my BuJo is just not there anymore. Nope. To be honest the only thing that has really transferred over has been the dot page journals, I cannot imagine going back to lined paper! Now I share a Google calendar with family, I am the central hub for my tiny little unit. I definitely struggle with planning and general Executive Function, my ability to mask has literally fallen away. So all appointments and engagements are on a shared digital calendar, I have been really annoying by repeating to everyone how important it was to refer to the calendar before booking in anything. Then last week I just booked Wakanda Forever 4DX for us all without consulting said calendar. A work in progress. For me physically writing something actually helps my processing, whereas touch typing does not. I am less likely to forget stuff if I write symbols. I think for me this has something to do with how I process information and my neuro diversity. Thank you for sharing your really well organised self. Blessings on the frog work you are doing. Thank you for acting on your guidance for community, it has really taken off!! lol.

I won’t know until I try o guess. Your calendar issues are highly relatable 😆

This may be a dumb question but how do you know when the moon is in which house in your chart? Does it go by what sign rules that house or by what sign you have in that house? Or neither??
@tameramorrison8966
@tameramorrison8966 Жыл бұрын
The moon goes through all 12 houses every cycle, so it spends about 2 1/2 days in each sign. When it's full in the sun, it's new in the moon, because the full and new moons are oppositions in aspect. For example, my birthday is January 19, and my sun is in Capricorn. My moon is in Virgo, because its in direct opposition to the sun when it's full. That's the reason we can see it! The details of where everything is at any time requires you to have a copy of your chart. There are places online that will make one for you for free. That will tell you where everything is in your chart. My moon is in Virgo in the 7th house. That's because that was it's exact location at the minute of my birth. My chart tells me where everything is.

@@tameramorrison8966 I know my moon is in Sagittarius in the 3rd house. I guess I'm asking about transits.
@JessicaandtheMoon
@JessicaandtheMoon Жыл бұрын
Not a dumb question Rachel. You match the current (transiting) position of the moon with the degree in your chart and see which house that falls in. So, say the moon is at 15 Taurus and 15 Taurus falls in your 9th house then the moon is currently in YOUR 9th house. When you’re using whole sign houses it’s simple because if the moon is transiting virgo and you know that’s your 1st house, then the moon is in YOUR first house. Does that make sense?

I agree to an extent. Bullet journaling is a defined system which uses bullets and other forms of rapid logging and it absolutely doesn’t HAVE to be anything but functional. But, just because people bring decorational elements into their bullet journals doesn’t make it NOT bullet journaling. What I spoke about in this video is I feel like personally my journal has strayed too far away from the bullet journal system to call it a bujo any more, but decoration does not equal not bullet journaling. It’s if you’re using the core system which makes it a bujo or not.
