This is my first time seeing your channel. I didn’t get into tech until my late 30’s and it’s the absolute best industry, trust me. That depends, on the level of experience you have, everyone's situation is different, but you will change your mind very quickly when you start to get burnt out, start taking work home, have a bad boss or a colleague you can't get along with, that passion will start to fade away very quickly, you will end up hating your job and your life. It's not important what you do, what is important is who you get to do it with, your work culture and the people you work with, that's what's important, before a job, that's what one should be praying for. I also worked for a big Tech company, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I don't mean to sound negative, this is just my own personal experience.

I can totally understand and relate, I have been in a similar situation, and what I learnt from my own personal experience is that you never chase MONEY and TITLE in a career! Before praying for that dream job, first, pray for a good boss and a good work culture.

You know when it's time to hang it up. Good on you for taking care of yourself and finding purpose. I know you're a smart young lady and have a backup plan in case things don't pan out. I'm fully retired at 39 but it took a lot of grit and discipline. Best of luck on your next adventures. You got this.

I am careful not to recommend quitting to people who may not have the faculties to make it solo, but you are clearly in possession of everything it takes to chart your own personal course.
