Hi Mako san, really like the quality of your videos. They are really calming to watch especially the ocean scene with the birds flying, and the bamboo forest.

Thank you so much! I watched Psych2go for years and receiving a comment like this from you means a lot to me. It really made my morning 🌞

I retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind always steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now (Financial Independence, Retire Early.) And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.

Exactly My point! The 9 to 5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?

Working with Lorrie Greta Hillard , a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.

Hey Mako, you shouldn’t feel envious of your friends. Believe me, most people would want your life. On the other side of the world, in America (South America, where I am), your job is what we all dream of having. There’s nothing like freedom and not having a boss.

Mako!!!!! I don’t know what’s wrong with KZbin. This is the first of your videos that I’m seeing in months. Was wondering if you stopped making content 😭😭😭. As someone who legit had her last day in my 9-5 on December 20th of last year, your words are an oasis in the desert of fear and worries. Thank you as always for sharing your learnings with us ❤️❤️

Life is a combination of experiences and needs. It requires compromises. You point out negatives with work but some work is required to be able to exist. There are negatives with getting married, having kids, dealing with parents, having friends, maintaining a household, having pets. Yet these are all worthy experiences to live for. You had a job you didn't like. It doesn't mean jobs are to be avoided. There are negatives being unattached from anybody and being free to travel around the world too. Find a happy way to exist just like some are.

What makes being laid off scary is the fact that we know that we are sacrificing joy and wellbeing everyday, and while we keep convincing ourselves that this makes sense, the company decides that it does not need our services anymore. 😊

@ Japan, I can’t imagine working there. I love it truly - the country. The people. Their devotion. But their modern work culture is dehumanizing. I strongly believe in giving people purpose in life. I like that they prefer man over machine. The extra public toilets are fantastic. Vending machines to fulfill any spontaneous craving - amazing. The blend of skyscrapers and ancient temples - fascinating. However, the human mind needs blank walls and blank pages and to stare into nothingness and beyond the horizon. It would help to have a sense of mutual forgiveness and collective responsibility, I think.

it's important to find our identity in Jesus, because people and circumstances will fail us, but He never will. we can lose ourselves in who the world tells us we should be, but instead let's find our identity in our Creator. also the things of this world will pass away, but Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever 🤗 I'm not sure what you think of Christianity, but I like watching your videos and hearing about your mindset about life :)
