Had an older HiAce years ago and thought about another, but will probably end up with a Subaru Forester. I'll be road tripping in Oz and cycle touring in Asia for half the year and spend the remainder at home in Melbourne.

There are so many variables but you should be able to get a road-ready van for between 20k-30k. Have a look on FB van life groups.
