thanks ari i appreciate it! i've been working and saving for a while because this is something i've wanted to do for years, but everyone's situation is different. what do you mean that you have no qualifications? i find that people sometimes don't realize they have skills or such that can be used!

it's been a blast! super cool to explore the place where my roots are from and a country that seems to be really popular these days. such a different experience living out on this side of the world and would highly recommend to anyone who gets the chance. i've really learnt to enjoy it as i've spent more time here. sad to be leaving soon :(

hi, thanks for popping by! that's a great question- everyone's situation is different so i think it's important not to compare, which is something that so many of us do all the time (myself included), especially with how prevalent social media is these days. i've been working and saving for quite a while, which often means missing out on fun things or doing things you don't always want to do. it's hard to have it all, but it depends what your priorities are. try to make a budget and stick to it, and plan out what your travels would cost so you know how much you need to save. i've been travelling in asia so it's a lot cheaper than where i'm from, so that also helps. just remember it's important to have a balance and not be too hard on yourself!
