the reason they kept putting traps and invisible platforms for main obstacles is cause ring 1 until ring 6 were all made before 2020 which is around 5 to 6 years ago and still in the early era of roblox advanced obbying, while GoE which was released like 2 years ago have relatively more enjoyable gameplay overrall to most people's taste, although watching you suffer in these classic towers are fun lol really looking forward when you begin your journey in wolrd 2 like zone 4 or higher, love your jtoh videos🙏

Jtoh is really outdated in the starting rings such as the one you are in (ring one). I recommend you move through the rings and beat the easy towers in order to get to more modern areas. These towers are SO MUCH more enjoyable and have interesting gameplay with towers that don’t burn your eyeballs. I hope you keep playing this game, it’s really enjoyable to see someone start the journey.

Whatever you do dont do tower of rage, go to different rings and make your way up the difficulty chart Also the invisible, unindicated traps are from when jtoh was meant to be a rage game instead of a skill game, the later towers get better because the traps are actually indicated and the gameplay is way because jtoh changed from being a rage game to a skill game

the conveyors are unindicated on purpose, same with falling platforms. some towers use them as traps, while others mark them and use them as obstacles

Whenever you do this again, don't do ToR I only beat Tower of Rage after having beaten some remorseless towers, because it's just not fun. Either jump to ToIE, or simply go to a different ring (/zone/sub-area) where you might even be able to do more than 1 tower, even if easier, in the same video :p

I understand your hate for unindicated conveyers. It feels like the player’s fault for falling when, in reality, it most of the time isn’t. Later rings and towers are usually better, especially silent abyss and (some) GoE in my opinion. You just gotta know the most recent rings. Like the pure embodyment of my hatrid is in towers such as ToOH, ToT and ToE, which I never reccommend you do. I’m sure you can do some towers in free time and expand your skill range!

Tip 1. Zones are more recent so they have much better gameplay then rings. Tip 2: If you want a idea on what newer areas are like go to ring 2 and find the subrealm called garden of esholl, its very fun !

Also please note that ring 1 was the first ring of jtoh and it is very old so there’s some unindicated things in some towers if you want some towers with better indications go to world 2 (the spacial system) which have more newer towers (also whatever you do DO NOT GO TO TOWER OF RAGE YOU WILL RAGE it took me 76 attempts to actually beat the tower try Tower of Impossible Expectations which is easier than rage)

Yo, go to zone 1 and try the easier towers. (they are actually easy trust) Also, by now you should have ring 2 unlocked. That gives you both Ring 2 and the ability to unlock a subrealm (Garden of Eeshol). You can also try Forgotten Ridge, which has some towers you will like! (THE SC IS THE BEST TOWER IN THE GAME REAL)

Listen, I swear to GOD the game doesn't stay like this with it's unindicated traps and other stuff. The game was initially meant to be a difficult and unforgiving rage-game with tricks and traps. That stopped around ring 7 and onwards, and is barely even existent in any zones or subrealms. I only say this because I wanna entice you into continuing so that I can enjoy you suffer, because trust me, the difficulty and punishment never leaves.

dw bro these early towers are just not that great, modern towers always have marked falling platforms/conveyors etc. sometimes even a lot more than that like beam guides for hard to see jumps altho thats not something u really see in classic towers. the reason tehy are still so bad is also because they wont update them for nostalgia reasons. anyway i see u have quite a few towers beaten so i recommend going to ring 2 but not for ring 2 itself (except for tops), find a guide to get to garden of eeshol (the subrealm) which is somewhat modern and has some pretty good beginner steeples, all the towers there are steeples & fairly low on the difficulty chart. if u ahvent yet you can also check out forgotten ridge, the ring 1 subrealm, it was made a bit later than the first few rings but is classic themed, but the towers are higher quality. honestly u can probably even go to ring 3 pretty soon or already although it has no subrealm and the towers there are questionable in quality (its the worst ring in jtoh). after that ring 4 is hard but some nice towers. unfortunately no subrealm. ring 5 is mixed but you get lost river subrealm which is recent and high quality and it has a subrealm inside itself which is contains mainly harder steeples that are not the most fun imo but still its nice. after that ring 6 is not bad, the subrealm is good though (actually the most recent). thats the farthest ive gotten, but also rememmber there is world 2.

This guy really likes saying penis Also ToR will make you RAGE, ToR was no doubt my longest grind. ToR is full of CRAZY obstacles, I had the worst fails on there. I dropped the grind to beat easier Towers, I think it started on September 2022 then ended February 2023 ToIE is way easier than ToR, ToIE is easy if you don't do dumb shit. I had similar grind to ToR with straight up shit gameplay, it felt long but shorter than ToR was.
