I have recently felt writing tug on the string of my heart, pleading with me to return to it. I've been writing since I was 8 years old, and have enjoyed it so much, I started writing short stories, poems, and two novels. But when I went through some stuff, and got a job, writing hasn't been part of me, and was pushed out of my life. I am now rewriting a novel that I have been working on for 4 years, and your tips have guided me on this journey, and helped better my writing. Since I definitely consider myself a beginner, there is so much to learn, and I look forward to hearing all you wonderful tips! 🤗

Thank you for this video. For months I've failed at following through a digital detox. I spend almost every waking minute watching KZbin and sometimes Instagram reels. I can tell that I'm not as creative as I used to because of it. I heard someone say that social media addiction is just as bad as being addicted to smoking. And I 110% believe it because of my struggles with trying to take a break from social media. Every time I try I get withdrawal symptoms. I feel bored and I have the urge to just pick up my phone and watch KZbin. You're definitely going in the right direction and I congratulate you for it. Social media addiction is definitely no joke and it's something that we all need to take a step back from.

Even curating what you consume is a challenge since platforms now showing “suggestions” either mixed in with your feed (instagram) or right before it (KZbin, TikTok, etc. I rarely watch TikTok, fortunately 😂)

Writing a novel is possible in a 30 day period. I think people wrote books and stories long before social media, computers, paper notebooks, type writers, and clay tablets.
Can a young writer ever write a great book?
