I want to commend you for putting up this video. It takes a dose of humility & self-deprecation to share your goofs, which we’ve all had. Too many channels have flawless execution: placing train bridges perfectly in position the first time, zero parts pinging off into the wild blue yonder, and screwdrivers that never slip off a screw head. FWIW, I’ve learned more from my errors & screwups in watchmaking than anything else. Keep uploading videos. 👍

Thank you for this! Watch repair is such a process. I may do this everyday but I still have to learn from my mistakes everyday. The discipline with taking the utmost time with every move is something I struggle with, but I am improving on. Thank you so much again for the comment it means the world.

Fantastic video. This is the kind of video that helps others who are suffering from frustration while watching video after video of everything going perfect.

Thank you, Interresting information. It all sounds 'greek' to me, as I have very limited knowedge about watches. I love your drawers, It almost reminds me of the old library systems

New subscriber. Nicely recorded and you cover lots of ground efficiently. Some folks will set their Seitz tool to the depth of the old jewel, and also check the hole size with a taper gauge before removing the old broken jewel.

Hi Asa, curious why you re-uploaded this? Is there anything new in it or are you just being driven insane by the algorithm? If it's the latter I feel your pain. 😂 BTW, I've tried your technique of holding the screwdriver tip with tweezers and that's definitely a good method for movements that you really don't want to slip up on and scratch! Anyway, thanks again for your videos!

Hey! Yes... It's the algorithm.... I probably won't do this again. Just looks bad on my part, but I wanted to see if anything would happen. It seems I just need to improve my engagement and push forward. Thanks for the comment and keep up the awesome videos! Thanks.
