Little trivia for ya: The name "Bugatti" is actually Italian. Now, how can an Italian name become French, you may ask? Well, a little thing called WWI happened in the 1910s. Granted, the founder of Bugatti was born in 1881, which would've made him be in his mid to late 30s by time the first world war was happening. After the war ended, France took over the land where Bugatti was building their cars, officially making Bugatti from an Italian name to a French name. Throughout time, Bugatti made some very successful racecars in motorsport and even a few great production road cars. However, due to politics and other things happening in the world, Bugatti had to close shop, until a man bought Bugatti, whom was responsible for producing the EB110. Then, they went Bankrupt again and then in the late 1990s, Volkswagen, a German car company, bought Bugatti, which kind of makes Bugatti German also. In short, Bugatti is an Italian name built by the French owned by the Germans. You're welcome lol.
