You are braver than me, I cannot do anything when I have rolled my ankle. Maybe you should include an elastic ankle bandage with a velcro strap in your supplies. It can help.

Haha, the weather was great for it this year. In fairness I think most races I done in Mournes have actually been dry. Well apart from Day 2 of the Mourne2Day Marathon 2018, that was damp!
