It's amazing how little feedback smash 4 seems to give on hits. I never have any idea if anything is going to kill or not. It's just so floaty. I feel like ultimate has completely set the standard for how hits should feel in this type of game.

Nah, the top blast zone doesn't kill you unless you're in hitstun or knockback including windboxes. The only game where the top blast zone acts like all the others is 64
