You Now Have 2 Batteries. Fold A Small Paper To And Put It On Top Of The Old Battery And Close The Lid. This Should Add Some Extra Buffer To Fix The Battery To The Terminals. It Should Work , Had This Problem With My Camera Too.

Hey, why not use a portable and small camera like the Gopro which every othe r vlogger is using. The Canon camera seems bulky in comparison. A Gopro is very small and is like the size of a normal matchbox. My advise is use it instead of carrying around a bulky camera like journalists from media houses like Citizen tv
