Grossi, I had obviously vastly under estimated your lack of speed and leaping abilities in my initial report of your combine trial, but your hands of glue and dogged determination have well made up for those athletic attributes, and you should be extremely proud of your performance... Besides, those stop watches, electronic timers and measuring gauges are known for being faulty... By the way, the "Flight of the Valkyrie" playing was pure unadulterated humor of the highest degree... And most profound, Sir... Sincerely, Mac Davis, North Dallas Forty Gazette...

Just imagine. Tom would be the ultimate "agent of surprise." The biggest must have play of the game. Out jogs Tom Grossi, wheezing and coughing up a storm, throwing in a chest grab for good measure. The other team laughs, maybe even points. Love takes the snap and evades for 8-10 minutes while Tom makes his way down the field. He finally fires, and bam! Tom's steady hands nab the ball for the winning touchdown, no defenders in sight because they couldn't stop laughing at the spectacle. I can see it, I really can.

My scouting report for Tom: Dedicated and ambitious. Great personality. Quick learner. A leader on and off the field. Puts others before himself. Bit on the slower side, but has elite hands and ball handling skills. Pick: Mid to late first round pick. Possibly earlier, though unlikely. Expected role: Long-time franchise starter. Combine Grade: B+ (ball catching is an A+) Draft team: Green Bay Packers. Overall verdict: A bit of a project wide receiver who has great potential.
