I Randomized EVERYTHING in the Original Ratchet and Clank

It never occurred to me that the game has no check in place for the o2 mask outside of the blargian home world. Like iirc gemlik makes you wear it but you didn't have it so it's fine

Yeah it's wierd it only has a check for o2 mask for Orxon 2 and also Blarg tactical station to get the gold bolt that clank couldnt get. But obviously they didn't predict a randomizer.

i mean you need to do orxon 2 befire other next planets so theres no reason to check it nornally

It's usually impossible to enter that world without already having acquired it, so there isn't anything in the game to address it besides 'auto-equip O2 mask'. Other places where it's required usually have an alternative 'Clank section' for accessing the level. Same likely happens during the spacewalk on Drek's flagship.

Very likely unfortunately, like an enemy or boss rando would be awesome. Or trying to randomize the wrench in the rando pool. It would be awesome but probably not possible. Thank you tho I'm glad you liked it😁

Fun fact for gemlic you can beat the whole level with only the bomb glove and suck cannon, how do I know I’ve done it before, it’s pretty hard but do able

Also challenge idea bomb glove and suck cannon only with no golden variants, it is completely doable and is decently challenging ( no pda for more challenge )

You said every seed is 100% beatable but I ran into one where I had slingshot and hydrodisplacer but no pack upgrade and was on Rilgar. You can make it to the sewers with a suuuuper tight lag jump but once you got to the sewers you cannot make the first jump after lowering the water without some major glitch. I looked at the line order graph thing that determines your path and it said that was the way it wanted me to go. I saw someone else in the discord had the same exact dilema which is funny.

Question. Is your footage taken from an actual PS3? I never had one but from the other comments and some moments of your footage it appears you have the console. Yet the vendor looks... weird. I've seen this in other people's footage but I always assumed it was taken on emulator (similar to how you can tell when the original PS2 version is emulated whenever the vendor, menu or credits show up due to what appears to be a transparency issue). Is that actually normal for the PS3 version or is that a common glitch?

Yes this is there real physical copy of the trilogy on PS3 and yes they are veryyyyyyy glitchy. When porting then over they kinda messed up a lot of things and made a glitchy mess

Weird your game looks so dark, the PS3 version was significantly brightened, on an actual PS2 the game is pretty dark and has vibrant colours.

I apologize unfortunately either my capture card or the streaming software decided to make the game dark af which sucks. So I had to brighten it as some places but it's a lot darker on mobile unfortunately 🥺. Definitely won't happen again. A rookie mistake
