Hey BFord, you should do higher lower: you can do it with the transfer value of players, and you begin with something like 64 rating, and each time you got something right you have + 5 rating, so if you are 5 times right you can add 25 rating plus 64 rating, and then you can choose someone from that rating🔥🔥🔥

11:13 _If I'm not mistaken, there's an age limit when it comes to downgrading a player, which is probably around 50 to 53 years old, since, first, 50's the max age a created player can have, and second, Kazuyoshi Miura just always retires in his first season _*_(99% of the time at least)._* _Since during normal gameplay, No player goes beyond that age downgrade effect limit, there's simply not a reason to keep that downgrade filter active. Same explanation can be given for players below the age of 15 not developing their stats, when outside the age range of the development system, the stats just don't drop or go up._

Players over 40 don't drop in overall, so Alisson will forever stay at 90. But Fabinho, who started at 38 years old, dropped for the first two seasons and will then stop growing. This happened too in your Cristiano Ronaldo fast-forward. He stopped decreasing once he reached 40. The reason Cristiano Ronaldo didn't grow in Season 1 is because he had no potential. Dynamic potential doesn't kick in until Season 2. His potential in season 2 was probably about 95 or 96 and so then he grew. You didn't check that.

The reason why ratings don’t drop is because if a player is older than the current oldest in the game, or maybe even above 40, their rating doesn’t drop, as the game assumes they should have already retired e.g Gianluigi Buffon’s rating doesn’t drop in CM, but he always retires first 3 or so seasons unless you sign him, as players can only retire with 12 months or less left on their contract
