I would like to add to the conversation of "XY is like BOTW" Its just because that is the current mass favorite open world RPG To be fair, Genshin and (supposedly) the Sonic game have lots in common with BOTW, yes, but you can say that about any game that has ruins, an open and explorable world, walls to climb and leveled enemies - Genshin has elemental enemies like the Chuchus, but Genshin is much more heavily focused on element interaction than BOTW and Sonic seems to be much more focused on how you move around Elden Ring is basically like Skyrim (medieval) with the difficulty of Dark Souls. Completely new concepts are hard to create, but we create new worlds with the concepts that exist and we need to respect every dev working on every game instead of basing them for "copying game XYZ"
